Monolithic Arabic

Part of ‘The Wave’ development in Muscat, the Kempinski Hotel consisted of 300 guest keys and 68 serviced apartments along with a destination gym and spa, two swimming pools, 13 food and beverage outlets along an urban streetscape, extensive landscaped gardens and an iconic ballroom on the corner of the site catering to a 1,000 guests. It is part of a world-class mixed-use community spread along 6kms of natural beach. The design incorporated modern, monolithic Arabic elements, most of which were sourced from the local Omani market. The color palette employed was beiges and muted browns to keep in line with the character of the space.
