•Quetzalcoatl was their main god

•They practiced human sacrifice

•Traded throughout North America

The Inca

•Largest empire in the Americas (South America)

•ruled peacefully•capital – Cuzco founded around

1200 – began to expand throughout South America in 1438

•govt. owned all food and built elaborate roads and stone cities

•Religion – worshipped Sun God – Emperor was descendant
