Made up of mostly underwater mountains and volcanoes-which is somewhat similar to Hawaii
20% of land is made of coastal plains (flat land)-which left scarce farming land for farmers, since it’s nearly impossible to grow crops on a mountain side.
Effects of Location
Homes located near sea -which meant that their diet consisted of mostly sea food.
