Dr. Apoorva Gupta

ABSTRACT

Dr Apoorva Gupta, a gold medalist Post Graduate in Periodontics and

Oral Implantology is the principal expert on Laser Dentistry. She is the

first periodontist in Delhi to implement Waterlase laser procedures into

her specialty practice and has become the only dentist in North India

to obtain a Mastership in Laser Dentistry from World Clinical Laser

Institute, California, USA. She graduated from Meerut University with

distinction and completed her PG (Cert) in Endodontics from IGNOU,

at Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), New Delhi. She was

trained and certified in Advanced Aesthetic & Cosmetic Dentistry at

GC campus, Belgium and Switzerland. Her vast clinical experience in

lasers has positioned her to be the “go-to” person in this field of dental

treatment. She has also trained Diode and All Tissue Laser Users and is a

speaker for various Laser Dentistry Courses & programs. She mentors

Clinical Periodontics and Laser Dentistry workshop at Smile India

Academy, Delhi. She has to her credit several papers and publications

at various national and international dental conferences. She is

currently practicing as Senior Consultant at Max Superspeciality

In an informative presentation, participants will experience the

revolutionary field of lasers in dentistry and hygiene. Course topics

include (laser physics) safety and tissue interaction, as well as

techniques for success with Laser Endodontics, Periodontal Therapy,

Aesthetic Soft Tissue Surgeries, Restorative Procedures, Tooth

Whitening & Tissue Bio-stimulation . Participants learn through multi-

media slide and video presentations as well as by performing

demonstration as well as hands-on on Goat Jaws by Soft Tissue

Diode Laser. By the end of the day, participants will be ready to go

back into their practices & institute the most commonly used soft

tissue procedures and periodontal therapies with confidence.
