Day 2 Ambon (Breakfast: Hotel / Lunch: Meals incl. in itinerary (Indonesia) ) Wake up early for breakfast and then set off for a full days excursion to the Leihitu Peninsula. The first visit is at the villages of Hitu and Hila. Explore the 18th century Immanuel Church and the old Wapaue Mosque which dates back to 1414. Located on a peaceful beach is the 17th century Dutch Fort Amsterdam built by the Dutch when the spice trade began to be implemented in Ambon. George Everhard Rumphius Holland, a historian and observer of nature, lived in the castle from 1660 - 1670 and wrote a book about the flora and fauna of Ambon. There will be a stop for lunch and also for visits to the villages of Allang, Lilibooi and Hatu. Return to the Hotel. Overnight in Ambon. Day 3 Ambon (Breakfast: Hotel / Lunch: Meals incl. in itinerary (Indonesia) ) After breakfast set off for a tour through the villages of Soya Atas, Naku, Kilang, Ema, Hukurila, Hutumuri and Toisapu. Stop for lunch in Passo, then visit the village of Waai to see the holy eels. People of the village believe that these huge eels are their ancestors so consider them to be sacred. On the way back to the hotel stop at the hot springs in Tulehu village. Overnight in Saparua. Overnight in Ambon. Day 4 Ambon - Saparua (Breakfast: Hotel / Lunch: Meals incl. in itinerary (Indonesia) ) After breakfast, transfer to Tulehu port and board a public speedboat for the one-hour crossing to Saparua.     Day 1 Ambon

    On arrival at the airport, your driver and guide will be waiting for you. Transfer to the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Ambon. Overnight in Ambon.

Visit the villages of Ihamahu, Nolloth and Itawaka. At Kulur village explore Putri Cave. There will be a stop for lunch along with free time to spend on Kulur Beach with its white sand and turquoise water. In the late afternoon drive to the hotel and check-in. Overnight in Saparua.     Day 5 Saparua (Breakfast: Hotel / Lunch: Meals incl. in itinerary (Indonesia) )

    After breakfast visit Fort Duurstede. The fort is located on a small hill beside a white sand beach with beautiful ocean views from the guarding towers. A small museum displays some historical artifacts and old photographs. Visit the villages of Booi, Haria and Ouw to see colonial buildings and traditional potteries. In the humble workshops the locals are keeping the traditional craft of clay pot making alive. In the afternoon visit a sago producer and stop at Wahaenahia Beach to relax and swim, then drive back to Saparua town. Overnight in Saparua. Overnight in Saparua.

    Day 6 Saparua - Sawai (Breakfast: Hotel / Dinner: Meals incl. in itinerary (Indonesia) )

    Transfer to Saparua harbour and take the fastboat to Seram island via Tulehu port in Ambon. Some Mollucans

    call Seram Nusa Ina (Mother Island), believing it to be their original ancestral home. On arrival drive to the other side of the island passing tropical forest and open grasslands. Board a boat to a small tropical paradise where you will stay overnight in Sawai, a beautiful wide bay backed by soaring cliffs and rugged, forested peaks. Your accommodation is in wooden bungalows built on stilts in the clear turquoise water. Overnight in Sawai. Overnight in Sawai.

    Today, explore the Salawai River by boat. Cruise along the water surrounded by dense vegetation keeping a lookout for birds and reptiles. See the local people processing the inner bark of the sago palm tree into edible flour. Continue to Sapalewa Island. Spend some time here to enjoy lunch followed by swimming and snorkelling, or just enjoying the tranquility. In the afternoon return to Sawai. Overnight in Sawai. Overnight in Sawai.

    After breakfast enjoy a walk along the coast to Masihulan village and through Masihulan National Park, one of the most beautiful national parks in Indonesia. Visit a bird rehabilitation centre in Masihulan. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Sawai. Overnight in Sawai.

    Day 9 Sawai - Ambon (Breakfast: Hotel )

    After an early breakfast, check-out and take the boat to Saka. Then transfer to Amahai harbour and board a local fastboat to Ambon. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Ambon. Overnight in Ambon.

    After breakfast transfer to the airport for the onward flight to your next destination.
