Basic package contains Exclusive use of:

The beautiful parkland for your dreamlike wedding ceremony, followed by a drink with some simple pre-reception food and your romantic wedding pictures

The historic state rooms inside the castle for your photo shooting of "Getting

Ready", as well as being an alternative location for the wedding and pre-reception food & drinks when the weather is unfavourable (available from 10am)

Our Panorama Restaurant for the banquet (from 3pm) and for breakfast the

following morning (9am to 12 noon) The "Hofsuite" and the wonderful Courtyard for celebrating into the following

morning (from 7pm on the day of the event)

A viewing appointment, including individual advice and professional personal service during the planning phase as well as on the day of the wedding.

Room reservations and booking management April to October:

Down payment for reservation

Together with your reservation we ask you for a down payment of EUR 1,800.00.

Once your down payment has arrived within 2 weeks of receipt of our invoice, we can guarantee your fixed booking.

6 weeks after the event you will receive another invoice for the remaining amount of the basic package.

Rooms For your overnighting guests we offer the special price of EUR 54.00 per person in double rooms, including breakfast buffet. This special price also applies to the wedding couple in the wedding suite. The price for a single room including breakfast buffet is EUR 67.00 Children up to 5 years in the room with their parents free

All prices include VAT, but exclude overnight tax (as of 21st September 2017 EUR 1.10 per person per night). Breakfast buffet on the day after the wedding from 9am to 12 noon. Check-In from 2pm; Check-out until 11am. For organisational reasons, earlier checking in is only possible in exceptional circumstances. Plenty of changing facilities are available.

Guaranteed rooms booked As a matter of course, with your booking we reserve and charge for 25 double rooms (EUR 2,700.00 incl. VAT, but excl. overnight tax) for the night of the wedding. These have to be paid 3 months in advance of the event, representing an additional down payment. After the event this amount will be offset by the actual number of rooms taken and paid for.

Welcome (optional) We recommend welcoming your guests with a glass of apple or orange juice, or mineral water. We can arrange for the welcome of your guests either in the lobby or in front of the hotel entrance.

Charge according to consumption (please allow about EUR 1 to EUR 2 per person)

Wedding ceremony You get married in the historic state rooms or on our lawn beside the lake – no matter if you choose a civil wedding, a church wedding or a free ceremony. We provide chairs, a ceremonial table (dressed white), electricity for any background music (additionally, outdoors a marquee and red carpet). Set-up for the ceremony Flat rate EUR 290.00

Aperitif/snacks When the weather allows, we are happy to arrange for aperitifs under our magnificent plane trees, next to the lake. In the event of bad weather, we can prepare aperitifs/snacks for you in the Historic Rooms. A table for gifts and flowers will be supplied for you. We will be offering "Hernstein" sparkling wine (Szigeti), optionally with orange juice, punch (made with seasonal fruit), various non-alcoholic organic fruit juices and coffee.

Drinks We solely offer wines sourced from local winemakers. In addition to our high quality standard range, we also provide "wedding wines" from lesser known winemakers between EUR 19.00 and EUR 24.00. One usually calculates roughly half a bottle of wine per person per evening (equal to about EUR 15.00 per person, depending on the choice of wine and duration of the event). If you prefer to bring your own favourite wine we charge a corking fee of EUR 12.00 per bottle.

Beer will be charged by consumption. Alternatively, we are happy to order a barrel of Ottakringer Wiener Original (50 litres).

Flat rate EUR 360,00 Spirits and tobaccos are paid by the guests themselves OR added to the overall bill. Flat rate for non-alcoholic drinks: This applies to mineral water, soda water, fruit juices (unfiltered apple juice, orange juice, various other fruit juices) and soft drinks (Pepsi, Frucade, Almdudler..., excluding Red Bull) as well as coffee and tea.

Children There is no charge for children in a highchair. A flat rate of EUR 15.00 is charged for children under 6 years. Children from 6 to 14 years are charged half the price of the menu, excluding drinks.

Cover banquet - restaurant Butter and bread rolls are provided at each table. As standard, the tables are set in an off-white colour (linen napkins, table cloths, wine-red seat covers).

Sample meal Included in your fixed booking is a sample meal for the bridal couple. According to prior agreement this can take place around 4 to 8 weeks before the wedding (Mondays to Thursdays). We serve the pre-chosen dishes and take time to talk over the final details. During this meal you will receive our recommendation for a suitable wine. For any additional attendees (4 at the maximum) we charge a special price of EUR 25.00 for the set meal (excluding drinks).

Decoration You may bring any decoration you wish. You have opportunities for decorating at the following times:

The ceremonial place is exclusively reserved for you from 10am, the restaurant from 3pm and the "Hofsuite" from 7pm (according to prior arrangement). At that time they are fully available for decorators, set-up of equipment for music, etc.

Service/night surcharge You decide when your celebration ends and you party as long as you like. Due to regulations regarding noise protection, we need to keep windows and patio doors closed in the restaurant and bar area, and in the "Hofsuite". From 1am we charge a service surcharge of EUR 75.00 per half hour.

Smoking areas Smokers are welcome to use the restaurant terrace, the Courtyard and outdoors.

SEMINARHOTEL SCHLOSS HERNSTEIN Prices valid for wedding celebrations in the year 2020, subject to modifications

TERMS AND CONDITIONS All prices are inclusive of VAT and EXCLUSIVE of overnight tax.

GUARANTEED NUMBER

A guaranteed number of guests needs to be stated no later than 10 days before the wedding – a later reduction can not be taken account of.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

Rooms are available from 2pm on the arrival day. On the day of departure the room has to be vacated no later than 11am and the key returned to reception.

LIABILITY

The host (the bridal couple) is liable for any soiling or damage caused by either themselves or their guests. The host is liable for persons who enter the lake or who use a boat on it. Parents are responsible for their children.

CONDITIONS OF PAYMENT

We accept cash and the following credit cards: VISA, MASTERCARD, DINERS CLUB, AMERICAN EXPRESS and EC cards

Invoices must be paid in full upon receipt, without any deductions.

WITHDRAWAL FROM CONTRACT/CANCELLATION

Up to 6 months before the agreed date you can withdraw from the contract without an additional cancellation fee and without explanation, by unilateral written declaration. Your first deposit for the basic package of EUR 1,800.00 will be retained by Schloss Hernstein when the hotel is not at fault for the failure of the contract. After the aforementioned deadline you can withdraw from the contract without explanation, by unilateral written declaration and by paying the following cancellation fee: Between the 6th and 3rd month before the date of the event: 65% of the amount consisting of the chosen basic package plus the guaranteed rooms booked. 3 months before the event up to the actual day booked: 85% of the amount consisting of the chosen basic package plus the guaranteed rooms booked. Down payments that were made up to the cancellation will be credited and retained.

CANCELLATION BY THE HOTEL

The hotel is entitled to end the contractual relationship for the following reasons:

When the reputation or the safety of the house is endangered When wrong information is given about the purpose of the event Force majeure

The host is not entitled to assert claims for damages. OTHER We assume no liability for the loss or damage of any items belonging to the host, their guests or any third parties involved with the event.

Damage or soiling of the rooms and theft of hotel property by the host or their guests will be charged separately.
