Thermal SprayAluminum (TSA)CoatingTSA coating has become an efficient/durable solution for long-term corrosion control and protection of steel structures. Canadoil has successfully launched a new dedicated state-of-the-art TSA coating facility capable of using the “Twin Wire Arc System”; where two consumable wires are arced together and entrained in an air jet from the gun to the surface of all piping products (i.e. pipes/fittings). This method deposits a consistently atomized coating, resulting in high bond strength, and the highest rate of application of all thermal spraying methods.
Twin Wire Arc originated in the high-tech Aerospace & Power Generation industry. In the piping industry, this system is a new concept application of well-established coating technique. TSA coating offers a superior alternative to the conventional coatings for corrosion protection of steel structures.

TWIN WIRE ARC METHOD (ARC SPRAY)
QUALITY OF COATING IS GUARANTEED BY
Twin Wire Arc systems functions by pulling or pushing two electrically charged wires into a gun head assembly where they are arced together. Located immediately behind this hot plasma zone is a compressed air jet which blows across the arc area, atomizing and propelling the molten metal particles forward to coat the substrate.

Product Description FBE is a plant pow-der coating that was developed for oil and gas pipeline applica-tions where superior coating bond, chemi-cal resistance, soil stress, and cathodic disbondment protec-tion is required.
3LP is a multilayer coating systemconsisting of a layer of fusion bondedepoxy, a copolymer adhesive and anouter layer of poly-propylene whichoffers the toughest, most durablepipe coating solution available.
3LPE is a multilayer coating system con-sisting of a layer of fusion bonded epoxy, a copolymer adhesive and an outer layer of poly-ethylene which offers a tough, durable pipe coating solution.
Thermal Sprayed Aluminum is a process whereby a powdered or wire form of metal is melted by an energy source and propelled or sprayed onto the surface of another metal or structure for the purpose of corrosion control, wear resistance, traction, or to restore dimensions.
