From the moment our organism is exposed to temperatures exceeding 42˚C, it enters into a self-adjusting mode, dilating the pores and activating a thermal sweating process in order to rapidly lose the excess of heat. Exposure to high temperatures creates an artificial feverish state, known as the hyperthermal process. The fever is part of a natural healing process and stimulates the immune system through an increased production of antibodies and interferon.
