5,500-bed capacity and 1,300 employees. Dr. Nikolaos S. Angelopoulos

is the founder, President and CEO, where as Mr Alexandros Angelopoulos

is the Vice President of this family owned-company which has pioneered

changes in the mentality & reality of the Greek Hotel Industry.

By continuously investing in innovative products and ideas and

demonstrating a high level of responsibility to humans, society and the

- 1985 – 1987: Construction of the 4* Cretan Village in Crete

- 1989 - 1991: Opening of the Knossos Royal in Crete

- 1992: Opening of the Knossos Royal Conference Centre

PIONEERS … OPENING OF A NOVEL wELLNESS MARKET

- 1995-1997: Construction of Royal Mare, including the 1st

Thalasso & Spa Centre ever in Greece.

OLyMPIA… THE OPENING OF A NEw DESTINATION

- 1998 - 1999: Purchase, renovation and opening of the

Olympian Village in Olympia of the west Peloponnese

- 2002 – 2003: Reconstruction of Olympian Village

(206 rooms and suites, swimming pools, restaurants and bars)

THE SECOND THALASSO & SPA CENTRE OPENS

- 2002 - 2004: Construction of Royal Olympian Spa & Thalasso
