    Personal Transformation Lab

    Asia-Pacific Institute of Management strongly believes in the holistic development of a student. We not only make students an efficient professional but also let them understand the importance of self-development. In this accord we offer Personality Transformation Labs to our students. This Lab will basically help students in grooming their personality and preparing them for corporate interface.

    Objectives:- Develop an insight into self through introspection and reflection & self-analysis.- Developing feedback sensitivity.- Identifying personality characteristics and their impact on one’s behavior, relationships and working.- Charting a roadmap for self-development.- Understanding and building competencies for positive transformation

    Delivery: - 10 hours in each term - Term I, Term II and Term III making it a 30 hours full credit course.

    Entrepreneurial Lecture Series

    The Entrepreneurial Lecture Seriesis an opportunity for students to understand the journey of an entrepreneur. This is one of the first kind of activities that will be introduced in India by AIM.

    Objectives:- To sensitize students toward entrepreneurial ventures driven by alumni and young entrepreneurs - To connect with startups for live projects if any

    Delivery:-It is a non-credit sensitization course. Five lectures in each term - Term III, Term IV, Term V

    Experiential Lecture Certificate Courses

    Apart from giving theoretical knowledge APIM also emphasize in experiential learning. Experiential learning is the process of learning through experience, and is more specifically defined as "learning through reflection on doing. Apart from the Elective Courses offered in different specializations each student has to study 4 Experiential Learning Certificate Courses each in one term from term II onwards.

    Objectives: - To give additional contemporary experiential knowledge to the students Delivery:- Each student is required to complete minimum four certificate courses.- Students are required to complete one course in each term from tern II to term V.- These courses will be opted by the students from the list of certificate courses

    Professor Abhishek Maheshwari in his teaching career has earned reputation as a corporate trainer and management researcher. With graduation in Commerce from CCS University Meerut, Professor Maheshwari is M.Com and Gold Medalist in MBA (Finance) from IGNOU, New Delhi. He has completed his doctoral (Ph.D.) in Finance from CCS University, Meerut. He is UGC-NET qualified in Commerce as well as in Management subjects.

    Professor Maheshwari has an insatiable interest in Financial Accounting, Financial Management, Security Analysis and Portfolio Management, Financial Derivatives and Financial Modelling. His Ph.D. thesis is a pioneering work in the area of analysis of financial performance. He has presented and published many research papers in international and national journals, conferences and seminars. He is having more than 15 years of experience in academics. He is in the panel of many universities for Ph.D evalution and vice-voice also. He was last associated with Jaipuria School of Business, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad as an Associate Professor in Accounting and Finance Department. He has also attended many faculty development programs and workshops in his field as a resource person. His unique methodology clubbed with his potential to deliver has made him an energetic young entrepreneurial trainer.

  • Dr Shruti Gupta is a PhD. from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT Delhi), Department of Management, in the area of Marketing.

    Her dissertation examined the antecedents of consumer behaviour with respect to Cause Based Marketing, also known as Passion

    Branding, in India. She was awarded PGDM degree from International Management Institute (IMI) New Delhi with dual specialisation

    in marketing and finance. She has qualified UGC Net examination and was awarded JRF as well. She was also awarded B.Com

    (honours) with first division from Delhi University. She has also been the part of the international global summer school for learning

    specialised research methods held annually at Indian Institute of Management (IIMA) and the experiment designed by her was

    appreciated and certified as the “Exemplary Experiment with Social Promise”. She has over 8 years of Research and teaching

    experience. Her teaching and research interests pertains to the domain of Cause Related Marketing, Strategic Management,

    Consumer Behaviour, Brand Management and Marketing Research. She has held various training sessions as a part of the MDP

    Programmes attended by various National Sales heads of the MNCs such as Blue dart, Infosys, Amul, Carlson Rezidor, Havells,

    Dr. M.P. Singh has Twenty years of enriched Academic Experience. He is a Ph.D, twice UGC- NET qualified academician. His thesis

    dealt in the sector of Customer Relationship Management and he has published 06 Research papers International Journal & 12

    research papers in various National reputed journals. Till date he has guided 28 M.Phil students & 5 Ph.D's. He has been a key note

    CSIR UGC NET, GATE and CTET in Mathematics. Her thesis area is applied mathematics. She has around 06 years of academic

    experience. She has various research papers published in reputed international journals. She has attended and presented various

    research papers in international and national conferences. Her interest area includes operation research, numerical methods,

    mathematical modelling, business statistics and various statistical methods.

    Prof. Charu AroraAssociate Professor

    Dr. Shefali is currently working as an Assistant Professor with Asia Pacific Institute of Management. Her area of specialization is

    productions and operations management. She has completed her doctoral degree from Atal Bihari Vajpayee - Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management,

    Gwalior (an autonomous institute of national importance under the ministry of human resource development [MHRD]. She is a UGC-

    NET qualified academician. Her thesis dealt in the sector of healthcare services operations management and has published her

    research in various reputed journals. She has presented papers in various national and international conferences. Her paper titled

    “Impact of Innovation on Competitiveness: Evidence from BRICS Economies” has won the Best Paper Award at XX Annual

    International Conference of Society of Operations Management (22nd to 24th December 2016) organized by ABV–Indian Institute of

    Information Technology Management, Gwalior. She has also been awarded the MHRD Fellowship during her PhD tenure.

  • Dr. Harish Kumar Associate ProfessorPh.D.- IIT Delhi

    Dr. Harish Kumar is Assistant Professor in IT & Analytics Area at Asia Pacific Institute of Management. He teaches various IT courses

    such as IT for Managers, Management Information Systems, E-business, Business Analytics and Internet of Things. He has received

    his Ph.D. in 2018 from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. He is an author/co-author of over 20 peer-reviewed publications (8 journal

    articles, 7 book chapters, 6 international/ national conference papers), primarily in the area of IT/ smart cities. His research on “Indian

    Smart City Mission Projects: Study of Select Issues” explores smart city transformation, selecting a smart city, determinants of smart

    governance for effective implementation, smart neighbourhood design, digital residential address, learning solutions in case of

    calamities and framework for socio-digital planning environment. He obtained his M.Tech. from International Institute of Information

    Technology (IIIT) Hyderabad, in 2012. He is also involved as a team member in esteemed projects such as Smart campus @ IIT Delhi,

    Digital India Awards - 2016 and Web Ratna awards - 2014. He has participated/attended the reputed conferences such as ICEGOV,

    Dr Anindita is an experienced Professor in the area of Business Communication with a demonstrated history of working in the

    education management industry for more than 20 years. She is skilled in Teaching, Training, Editing, and Curriculum

    Development. She is a certified trainer in various areas of expertise especially in Soft skills, public speaking skills and English

    communication skills. She is having dual degree to her credit, PhD in English and Master in Business Administration (specialization in

    Finance). This gives her an ease of teaching and training the Management students. She strongly believes in Learning-unlearning-

    relearning.

    Dr. Soniya Garg is an incisive professional with 19 years of experience , out of which 11 years in academia and 8 years of industry experience in the area of International Business and operations. She is a Gold Medalist in Economics .She has been teaching Economics , International Business and Business Analytics courses at both Post graduate & Undergraduate levels . She has done Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics and Intelligence from Amity University in collaboration with Thunderbird School of Global Management, Arizona State University, Tempe, AZ. She has authored books on International Business, Foreign Trade Policy with the leading publishing house of South East Asia- McGraw Hill Publications. She is member of editorial and reviewer board of various journals of management and economics.She is a member of International Economics Development and Research Centre, Hong Kong, Fellow member of Global Literature society, USA, Executive Member of Stephen gill World peace Academy- An Intercontinental (Asia-America-Africa) academic body for research and education and Fellow Member of The Home of Letters - A house of Public relations to promote global peace and universal fraternity through educational , cultural and literal activities (Regd.Under M.H.R.D.     Ÿ If the student is availing an Air-Conditioned room, a sub-meter will be provided separately and the actual bill for the usage of A.C is to be paid by the Roommates, on

    sharing basis. In case of default in the payment of monthly A.C. bill, the services of the A.C. would be disconnected.Ÿ Heaters, blowers or coolers will not be allowed. On a special request to the hostel authorities permission may be granted subject to payment as per the electricity bill

    intimated by hostel authorities. The Boarding and Lodging facilities provided in the hostel includes a furnished room with bed, mattress, table, chair, bed-sheet, pillow,

    pillow cover, blanket/quilt, almirah (on sharing basis), besides the provision of tea, breakfast, lunch, evening tea/coffee with snacks, dinner and 24 hours purified drinking

    water supply through R.O. system. The vegetarian food will be served regularly. Non-Vegetarian food is served once/twice in a week, for the non-vegetarian students. The

    mess facility will be available only during the said academic session only.Ÿ Any student registered for availing the hostel accommodation will not be permitted to withdraw from the hostel, till the end of the academic year. However, if a student

    withdraws from the hostel, fee once paid, will not be refundable, under any circumstances, as per the terms and conditions stipulated in the hostel manual also.A.C. bus

    service facility is available for all students by paying one time payment of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) per student for per academic session. Availability of

    bus service is till end of academic session and subject to a minimum of 25 students availing the bus facility.     At Asia-Pacific Institute of Management, we believe in rewarding the hard work and excellence achieved by meritorious students in their academic endeavors. As part of this ongoing initiative, in 2020 we are awarding total 60 scholarships, 30 Scholarships in category-I and 30 scholarships in category-II, which will be announced on following merit basis.

    Since our inception, we have always favoured girls and women empowerment in every field, be it while giving admission to students, recruiting our teaching and non-teaching staff, and even while distributing scholarships to students. We are always a step ahead to empower girl child by igniting their mind and intellect for a dignified life. We run specific scholarship programs specially dedicated to them.

    Category II (General Category for Boys and Girls )

    Ÿ The total number of scholarships awarded by AIM is 60 Scholarships (30 Scholarships in category-I and 30 scholarships in category-II)Ÿ No two scholarships can be combined.Ÿ Student Handbook has detailed process of applying for scholarship.Ÿ Amount of scholarship in various categories detailed above, is offered as percentage of tuition fee.Ÿ There are limited seats for each scholarship category.Ÿ Asia-Pacific Institute of Management has provision of giving scholarships to meritorious candidate by way of partial waiver of fee.Ÿ For claiming this scholarship, a candidate will have to produce their academic scores at the time of submission. Ÿ Scholarship scheme is applicable to all PGDM courses namely General, Marketing, IB (International Business) & BFS (Banking & Financial Services).Ÿ The student should not have re-appeared in supplementary examination in any subject related to final year of 10th, 10+2, Graduation and any trimester of PGDM examination thereafter.Ÿ The scholarship in the second year would be availed subject to the student obtaining a minimum of 7.5 CGPA out of 10 in the first three trimesters of the first year. If the CGPA is not maintained at 7.5, 50% of the

    scholarship will be withdrawn in the second year.Ÿ The awarding of Scholarship will be the final decision of the Academic Committee. No appeal with regard to selection of scholarship candidates will be entertained.
