Definition & ResponsibilitiesA) DefinitionThe Global Expansions Committee is an independent body, responsible for coordinating the international expansion process of AIESEC, supporting the Global Plenary and all stakeholders interested in the sustainable growth of the organization.
B) Responsibilities Coordinate and constantly review AIESEC’s global expansion process,
according to organizational trends, mid-term ambition and needs; Support, track and coach (internal and external) expansions stakeholders; Provide accurate information and present periodic reports to the global
plenary and AIESEC International on the evolution of expansion goals at each international legislation meeting;
Guarantee synergy with the global subcommittees and supporting bodies; Track the organizational status evolution of expansion entities; Propose updates and improvements, regarding expansions and membership
criteria, to the global compendium.
Job DescriptionTime Commitment: 10 hours per week (virtually)Mandatory presence: at IC 2015, IPM 2016; potential Global Expansion events.
1. Network’s Support & Process’ Standardization Review and evaluate Expansion entities application forms and feasibility
studies Standardize tools for tracking International Expansion process effectively Deliver organizational coaching for EIs, CUs and Country partners Define the global expansion focus and update the Prospective Expansion
List Analyze the Global compendium in terms of Expansion processes and
membership criteria, proposing the changes that are needed Follow up motions and mandates at Global Level legislated to the GEC,
Expansion Entities and/or Country partners
Job Description2. Global Synergy Collaborate with AIVPs, External bodies and Subcommittees in terms of
regional initiatives and strategies
3. Team Management Delegate the above responsibilities to team members Deliver relevant trainings to Global Expansions Committee members Coordinate Global Expansions Committee team meetings Track performance of Global Expansions Committee
4. Key Performance Indicators: Number of EIs becoming CUs Number of CUs that become full member Number of EIs initiated by the GEC % of contracts documented
