Being an executive board member of AIESEC in Dehradun is a once in a lifetime opportunity and one of the most exciting challenges you will face in your AIESEC experience. Working with 9 diverse individuals, engaging with more than 124 countries and cultures, thinking globally and acting locally, striving for common goals, passing through one of the most intense team experience AIESEC can provide and inspiring many young people in Dehradun and India due to your insights, decisions and attitude.

Specialized Characteristics of Team Members

While each team needs a broad knowledge base, each team member must also possess some specific skills and experience in order to manage a variety of functional tasks.

Working on the EB requires the members to take on extensive functional tasks, including external relations, using information systems, human resources development, content management, conference planning (LCongs, LC days among others), exchange systems development, communication/publications/marketing, and other areas that are not covered by the functional positions on the team.

The team must be comprised of individuals who collectively cover these major areas of expertise.

Application Process & Rules

Please read this document in detail Candidates may run for a maximum of 2 positions. Please specify in the email you will send to the

LCP and LCPe. Use the same numbering system as the question you are responding to. Please take your application seriously as your application will be included as a part of the selection

criterion. Applicants maybe short-listed for the interview on the basis on the application. All sections are compulsory. Submit your application by 7.59 AM, Wednesday, 26th November 2014 to Yasmeen Singh at

[email protected] CCing Anuja Keshava at [email protected]. The application package should be sent as an attachment via email (PDF file ) in the following format:

Name_Portfolio_AIESEC_DEHRADUN_EB_15 Subject of the mail should be: Name Portfolio | AIESEC Dehradun EB 2015 Maximum number of pages is 22 Late applications – even by a few minutes – WILL NOT be accepted and no exceptions will be given,

including in the cases of email/computer dysfunction. Extensions will not be given. As such, we strongly recommend you do not wait until the last minute to

submit your application, as you will be risking it not being accepted should unforeseen events occur. The LCP elect reserves the option to not select individuals for a position if suitable candidates have

not been put forward. In such a situation, the LCP elect will continue to search for an appropriate candidate.

Shortlisted candidates will be called for a Personal Interview, which will happen anytime between 26th November and 28th November 2013. Please make sure you are physically present during these dates.

All applicants need to be dressed in formals and need to bring one hard copy of application for the interview.

You can create your own design (graphic style and color usage), but you may only use Font Georgia throughout the application in size 10 only.

Your application reflects you; it reflects your personality and your perspectives. Be comprehensive and concise In this application, you will be able to use all your creativity when creating and designing your own

application form to stand for the Executive Board 2015 of AIESEC Dehradun. The process has been designed to bring out the best in you through your application. At the same time, filling the application will support you in preparing yourself for a great term on the EB.
