In case of foul smells in water immediately rake the pond

from bottom to release the obnoxious gases

Whenever possible the farmer should replenish water to the

optimum level

Apply quarterly dose of lime 16 kg kani in new pond and

10kg kani in old ponds

Affected fishes can be treated with solutions of either

potassium permanganate (2mg 100 ml) or common salt

(3g100 ml) or copper sulphate (50mg 100ml) for all

bacterial and fungal diseases

To prevent the EUS diseases in fish during winter apply

Cifax 200 ml kani
