    preparation &

    sowing

    Apply FYM @ 10q per kani (1/6 of ha) along with 20kg Urea,

    40kg SSP and 10kg MoP per kani. Line sowing may be preferred

    maintaining plant to plant spacing 10 to 12cm and row to row

    spacing 25 to 30cm. Seed may be required @ 1.25 kg per kani.

    Recommended varieties are Ragini, NUDH-21, Baruna, SEZ-2,

    Pusa Agrani etc.

    Preparation

    For cultivation of potato the land must have assured irrigation

    problem of water logging; the land should be well ploughed to

    fine tilth to a depth of 30 cm.

    round worm, flukes and tapeworms. De-worming may be done

    under recommendation and supervision of authorized practitioner.

    dry condition and apply lime powder @ 1 kg/ 100 sq ft area.

    Fish Stocking

    If Algal bloom develops on pond surface then stop giving feed to

    fish. Those farmers who have already stocked in their ponds can

    lime the pond after checking the pH (if pH falls below 6.5, apply

    lime @ 50kg/ha) and regulate feeding and manuring as excessive

    manuring and feeding can lead to oxygen depletion in cloudy

    weather.

    Preparation

    For cultivation of potato the land must have assured irrigation

    facility; the soil should be friable, porous and well drained as far as

    possible; the soil pH should within the range of 4.8-5.4 (refer

    individual soil health card); the land should be levelled and sowing

    must be avoided in any depression, where there may be problem of

    water logging; the land should be well ploughed to fine tilth to a

    depth of 30 cm.

    worm, flukes and tapeworms. De-worming may be done under

    recommendation and supervision of authorized practitioner.

    Vaccinate the birds to protest from the disese. Animal may kept in

    dry condition and apply lime powder @ 1 kg/ 100 sq ft area.

    Fish Stocking

    If Algal bloom develops on pond surface then stop giving feed to

    fish. Those farmers who have already stocked in their ponds can

    lime the pond after checking the pH (if pH falls below 6.5, apply

    lime @ 50kg/ha) and regulate feeding and manuring as excessive

    manuring and feeding can lead to oxygen depletion in cloudy

    weather.
