Agape Volunteers Rock! DEAR PRECIOUS AGAPE VOLUTEERS: IT'S A PLEASURE FOR ME TO TAKE THIS OPPORTUNI TY TO SHOW MY GRATITUDE TO YOU FOR ALL THE HARD WORK YOU PUT INTO THE AGAPE MISSIONS MINISTRY. I AM NOT A LIVE THERE MISSIONARY BUT I FUNCTION AS A MISSIONARY EVANGELIST. BECAUSE THE MINISTRY IN HAITI THAT THE LORD GAVE ME IS A NON-PROFIT CORPORATION OF WHICH I AM THE PRESIDENT IT IS NOT POSSIBLE FOR ME TO FUNCTION AND PERFORM ALL THE DUTIES THAT ARE NECESSARY IF I LIVED THERE. HOWEVER I DO GO BACK FORTH VERY FREQUENTLY. I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR THE HELP THAT AGAPE FLIGHTS GIVES TO OUR MINISTRY AND ALL THE OTHERS ON THE FIELD. THEY ARE INDEED A GREAT BLESSING FOR ALL OF US AND I REALIZE THEY COULD NOT BLESS US IF YOU DID NOT BLESS THEM. I AM ONE OF THE FEW WHO HAS WITNESSED YOU IN ACTION AND I MUST SAY IT IS INCREDIBLY WONDERFUL AND AWESOME. I THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART AND LEAVE YOU WITH ONE OF MY FAVORITE BIBLE PASSAGES GALATIONS 6:9 "AND LET US NOT GET TIRED OF DOING GOOD FOR AFTER AWHILE WE WILL REAP A HARVEST OF BLESSING, IF WE DON'T GET DISCOURAGED AND GIVE UP" I ALWAYS SAY WHEN YOU WORK FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD IT MAY SEEM LIKE THE PAY ISN'T VERY GOOD BUT THE REWARDS ARE "OUT OF THIS WORLD" BLESS YOU! REV. AUDREY ANN VOLZ-THE SHEPHERD'S LAMBS, INC. Thank you all who volunteer and serve God and others through Agape! My family of five always looks forward to getting packages from family and friends from the States. We also REALLY appreciate the Thanksgiving boxes!! Agape Volunteers Rock! Dear Agape volunteers, Thank you for your hard work and dedication to Agape ministry. We appreciate you and thank God for you. Please know that what you do is not in vain, many lives are touched and many

works are accomplished thanks to you. May the Lord continue to bless you as you serve Him, may He continue to strengthen your life, provide for all your needs, give you good health and bring you to a closer knowledge of His power and grace. We thank God for you! (Philippians 1:3) Blessings, Oricel Caminero HOLA Agape Volunteers:

What a blessing for Bud and I to visit Agape Flights in Venice and see the work

being done before it ever arrives on the island!

We met many of the volunteers while there and we ARE truly members of one body

and we are so happy to see the faces of those who are sacrificing their time and resources to help meet our needs.

The Reward of Service

40 “He who receives you receives Me, and he who receives Me receives Him who

sent Me. 41 He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a

prophet’s reward; and he who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous

man shall receive a righteous man’s reward. 42 And whoever in the name of a

disciple gives to one of these little ones even a cup of cold water to drink, truly I

say to you, he shall not lose his reward.” Matt. 10:40-42

You faithful servants in Venice will receive the same reward as those who have

been sent to the mission field!!!! Your hands help us with the needs of many

people here in the Dominican Republic. You may be sorting mail to bring us news

from home, weighing packages to give to those in need, or packing items that help

the missionaries relax in a place where comforts are not abundant. As I write this,

we have no electric! Praise God for our inverter/battery power to be able to finish

this email.

We are thankful to each and every person who comes together to make the name

of Agape Flights, a name that is known for helping, kindness, and serving fellow

workers for the Kingdom!

He who refreshes others, will himself be refreshed! Proverbs 11:25

Agape Volunteers Rock! Please let them know we are so very thankful for all of the volunteers! Things are hard here. It is often times hard to accomplish tasks that are so simple in the US. Agape allows us with that connection to home to allow us to do the work that God has called my family to do. Without you all life would be much more difficult here. We thank God so very much for you all and for all you do! Till the whole world hears..., Ed Zogg Christian International Foundation, Inc. Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic A special thank you to all your volunteers. I know you would not be able to get all the work

done without their willing hands to help. Even the little things matter. Sorting and putting

the mail together might not seem like much to other but to us its very important. To know

that our cards and letters are carefully taken care of is important. Life can be difficult

on the mission field and to know that our mail gets to us safely is one less thing we have to

be concerned about.

I thank you for your faithfulness and willingness to help at Agape Flights.

God bless you all.

Carole Comeau

Missionary to Haiti

Agape Volunteers, Many of our Thursdays here in Haiti are a bit like Christmas for us as far as receiving packages goes. My kids usually hang around in expectation when the Agape packages arrive and pester me if they are checked and sorted for the missionaries so they can see what has arrived and whisk it off to our house. You guys come in and serve folk you don’t know personally or often meet. But you choose to partner with and invest in God’s Kingdom and his work without receiving fanfare and recognition. Thank you. Thank you for making my family’s work here easier, more enjoyable, and helping us to have more longevity. Thank you for the items sorted and delivered for our ministry—everything from medicine to crib mattresses to Tap Con screws. You are dearly appreciated. In Christ, Kirk Vander Pol

Agape Volunteers Rock! Dear Agape Team! We feel like it would be better to say all of your name one by one if only we could, but we know for sure that God knows you guys one by one. You guys named Agape Flight and that name really goes with you (lol) cause you guys are flying with love to bring our stuff to us and all other places you go. We don't know what missionaries in Haiti could do without you all. Thanks for your love, patient, hard work. We love you with all our butts (we could say our hearts but our butts are bigger). Just laugh!!!! We love you guys, Robenson-n, Renee and Jayden-n Leger

Just want to take a moment to say, THANK YOU! Thank you for all your service and prayers. Thank you for all the shopping, sorting and shipping you have done to make our ministry more enjoyable. May God richly bless you! In His service,

Agape Volunteers Rock! Dear Agape Flights volunteers, We want to express our heartfelt thanks for the service you provide. Our son uses a prescription that we have to have filled each month and sent to us. Your service has been essential to getting that medication to us each month. We have also been able to get essential repair items through you that are very difficult or impossible to locate in Haiti. Blessings to you as you serve Agape Flights and the missionaries in the Caribbean. Stan, Laura & Matthew Heider "God calls you to the place where your deep gladness and the world's deep hunger meet." Frederick Buechner Agape Volunteers, A simple word of “thanks” doesn’t seem like enough! We appreciate all you do to serve us! You are a blessing to our family! May God bless you and add the increase! Blessings, The Yordy family to all Agape volunteers, We at International Missions Outreach would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to you for all the service that you provide to Agape flights to assist them in providing the tremendous service that they do. Agape Volunteers Rock! Many, many, many THANKS from all of us at Evangelistic World Outreach in Haiti!! (Tom and Bev Brumbley, Carole Comeau) Though we may never meet or even know each other’s' faces, it will not take away from the huge part you have in partnering with us in the work that we do in Haiti. Thank you for giving so willingly in so many ways and for making our work here in Haiti a bit easier. We thank you and appreciate all that you do! Tom and Bev Carole Dear Volunteers at Agape, We wish we knew you all by name and that we as your missionaries in Haiti could thank you in person for the tremendous work you do for all of us here. There really are no words that can express our gratitude to you. I know your tasks vary but each one is so important to the work that is a part of the building the Kingdom of God here in Haiti. I hope the work you do for Agape is a joy because what you do for us does bring us joy! Thank you! May God bless you indeed! Nancy and Steve James (Cap)

GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU WHO VOLUNTEER AT AGAPE!!! I can not imagine my life without you! I live in the very Northwest tip of Haiti, and often have had to use one of you to do shopping for me and send me sewing items or orders I have input through Walmart! AMAZING that I can shop at Walmart even when I am here, but even more so is the fact that you willingly give your time to help us be able to stay and work here in Haiti. You ARE a part of every AGAPE missionary's life and work. Thank you for having the hearts of servants! I keep you in my prayers always, that God will each day prove His grace again to you for such love you have given to us! Enjoy your special day... so well deserved! Love and prayers, Linda Blankenship Mare Rouge, NW Haiti To all volunteers, Thank you for your unselfish giving to us. Time and effort are precious resources and please know that it is much appreciated. From our family to you, we pray God's richest blessings over you, your family and ministries. Agape Volunteers Rock! As a missionary of less than 2 years I have been super blessed by Agape's service in getting things delivered here in Haiti! Thank you!! Jesse Lancour Missionary to Haiti

Dear Agape Volunteers, We're writing to thank you for your kind support and help to us in Haiti. We're fortunate to have you donate your time. Thus, we express heartfelt thanks for all you do. Enjoy your time! Sincerely, Michael & Barbara Brown

Dear Agape Volunteers:

You are amazing! I am blessed by you with the way you help sort mail, packages etc, and especially with the purchases you find for us missionaries. Often things that are not available here in Haiti, especially out where we live, you find and send when we need them! Thanks so much! May the Lord bless you for your kindness and efforts.

Joyce Throness

Dear Agape Volunteers, We just want to say thank you very much for all the things you do for us. I'm sure there are many hints you do that we are unaware of. Thanks for shopping and packing and reorganizing our stuff and shipping it in to us. You all are truly a blessing to us. A big thank you from Haiti!

Agape Volunteers Rock!

Dear Agape Volunteers, Thank you so much for your part in our ministry! We could not minister as effectively here in the DR without you and Agape. Many of our boxes are Bibles, Sunday school curriculum, VBS material, and teaching/training materials. Sometimes as missionaries we wonder if the people we are ministering to really "get" what following Christ is all about. Here is a story of a young man that "gets it". A couple of Sundays ago, a 13 year old boy who has been a part of our ministry for years had an epileptic seizure. When he was getting ready to be taken to the hospital, he was concerned about his Bible being left at the church and that his tithe would be put in the offering. The Bible he has is one Agape flew in. On the personal side, our family enjoys the "treat" boxes that family, friends, and churches send us. I wish you all could be in our home on a mail day when the boxes our opened. Our kids are thrilled and super excited. It's nice to be able to enjoy special treats from the States and you guys are a part of that excitement that comes to our home- from the office staff, to the volunteers, to the pilots! Thank you for the many hours of your time that you sacrifice to serve others. Thank you again for all you do to minister to us and with us! Michael, Anna, Emily, Andrew, and Brett Doering Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic Just a special note of thanks to all of you who make Agape run so efficiently! You are definitely our lifeline to the States. We shudder to even think of what life would be like here if we couldn't depend on your faithfulness. We love you Agape Flights!! For the volunteers: "For us as human beings who cannot pay you for your work, we converse or we title it

as "VOLUNTEERS''. You're actually investing in Eternity visibly, your reward is going to be eternal. You don't know how many souls you saved unless we tell you here in Haiti;

you don't know how many lives you save, unless we told you; you don't know how

many you bless, unless we tell you; finally, you don't know how many you encourage unless we tell you." Thousand thanks!

Blessings and thanks to everyone.

Agape Volunteers Rock! Dear Volunteers and Staff at Agape offices, We are very grateful for all of the time that is sacrificed on a daily basis to keep things working at the home office. We know that there are many other things that you could be doing, but you have chosen to give of yourselves for our benefit. We could not even begin to mention all of the times that you have shopped for us, made special arrangements for us to get a box on time, and most of all, just prayed for us. We pray that you have an enjoyable activity tomorrow, and that you know how much we appreciate your willingness to serve the Lord. May the Lord continue to bless you all with health and strength as you serve Him. Sincerely in Christ, Joshua and Joy Wesson and family Dear Agape volunteers, Thank you for so much for all you do. You are literally our hands and feet at times, and it means so much to us. What was once impossible for us...receiving a mail delivery, shipping much needed supplies, a

bike for our son, or a fresh glass of chocolate milk 😉...has made a huge difference in our quality of life as well as those around us.....just ask the entire communities that have been blessed with basketball goals, shoes, or tarps. What you do matters, and you're making an eternal impact for which you will be eternally rewarded. Thank you just doesn't seem to cover it, but please know we are so thankful for your selfless service! God bless Mark Stockeland Executive Director Haiti Bible Mission

Agape Volunteers Rock! Agape Flights, We at Windermere High School appreciate your ministry more than you could ever know! Because of you we are able to get a "taste of home" every other Thursday! When we get the email that the plane is coming, we are all so excited! On Thursday afternoon when the van or truck returns to campus with all of our packages and mail, there is excitement in the air! We LOVE getting letters and care packages from friends and family. It gives us an energy boost and motivation to continue to pour into the lives of these students. Not only does Agape provide a personal benefit for each and every one of us, it provides an outlet for us to order items for the school in order to make the education more excellent. Every time agape comes there is something for the school. We have ordered everything from textbooks, to devotional books and Bibles, to projectors for the classrooms, to new balls for sports club to art supplies for art class.... and much much more. If we were to rely on the Bahamian mail services, we would literally have to wait MONTHS to receive these items. Because of you, we get them promptly! We appreciate that you as a ministry go above and beyond just bringing our mail! You provide us with Thanksgiving dinners! Every thanksgiving, though we all miss our families dearly, we come together and share a "missionary family dinner" courtesy of Agape Flights! It means the world! Many of us also benefitted from the donated items list recently, too! Thank you to all those of you who had to sift through and categorize those items, and then sort through who requested what and ship them off! Ultimately we just wanted to give you a GIANT THANK YOU from all of the missionaries at Windermere High School for your hard work and the blessing that you are to us as individuals and as a school. God Bless, -The Windermere High School Missionary Family

Agape Volunteers Rock! Dear Jeff, Pastor Lamartine and I deeply appreciate all the work you do, and everyone who helps us at Agape Flights there in Florida!!! When I arrived in Haiti in 1972, Pastor Lamartine paid money to use a mailbox at the post office in Port-A-Prince. It took about 3 weeks to get any mail. The postal workers there sometimes gave our mail to unauthorized people who told them that the box was theirs and that they forgot the key to the box. They stole the mail; Pastor Lamartine found a birthday card outside of the post office which was sent to him, opened, and ripped up. A former teacher of mine from Wisconsin visited Haiti on a tourist ship which stopped in Port-Au-Prince near the post office. He wrote me a note and left it in the postal box; I never received the note! Others received items, which were found ripped up outside on the ground of the post office. I received a letter from a person who died...after the person died which was a miracle.Because of these things Pastor Lamartine checked the post office often every day. This took much of his time and money to travel to the post office! At this time we were living on $50. a month with no exchange rate; we had to pay to get a check cashed. Why am I telling you all of this? Because I want to tell you that we sincerely appreciate all of the work you people do to help us minister in Haiti! We have been with Agape many years, and we are thankful that Keith and Clara Starkey began this work. I got to know them personally while working weekly in the Agape office in Haiti helping Marlene Burch and later to the other office on Delmas where it still is. My husband spends much time helping the local Agape Flights' operation in Haiti as a board member, yes, but went he returns home to me, he comes back exhausted but almost without exception, blessed/encouraged by the friendly, loving reception he has gotten from the Agape pilots! This helps him as when he goes to the airport either to get boxes out of the customs or to meet the plane, the people there are very demanding of him to give them money or whatever it is they are lacking. Some of these people call him at home before he goes to meet the plane, asking him when he will be there. Some of them have come to beg from us at our home! We help as many desperate people in Haiti as we can but as you know we cannot help all of them! Your volunteer service helps us receive financial support in the mail via Agape Flights. May GOD continue to bless all of you, and keep you safe! With love & appreciation, Patricia & Pastor Lamartine Liberus International Faith Fellowship Ministries
