Support and
Guidance 6Adverts
What are the key features
across the adverts?
The main feature of the stone roses
advert and the black keys advert is that
they are similar to album that they trying
to promote. They have the same colours,
fonts and layouts. This is so that consumers
can easily recognise the album. This is
something that I must replicate when
creating an advert
Who is the Brand Represented?
Both of albums represent the bands image and brand in the adverts. The stone roses advert contains the colour red, white and
blue. As they are famous for being a Brit pop band this would connote the bands brand
and image. The black keys band is represented with the magazines that are
mentioned on the advert. These magazines are associated the genre so people
associated them with the same genre. This is how there band is represented.
How is the Genre shown?
The genre is shown in both of the adverts.
On the advert they have comments from
magazines that are associated with the
genre such as NME and Mojo. If people
that see these comments from these
magazines then they will automatically
associate them with the genre.
Similarities
between the
adverts and
CD’s are clearly
identifiable.
