You can easily record narration over the slides, capture video files, and add a quiz

Is Presenter on my PC?Open Microsoft PowerPointYou will see an Adobe Presenter Ribbon

Presenter is part of the Adobe SuiteYou will have to ask for it to be installed by your CSO

Prepare your PresentationCreate and Save your PowerPoint PresentationSelect the Adobe Presenter RibbonRecord on the Audio Section

Set the Microphone Level

repeat the script until the Input Level is OK this can take a minute or two.6Write your script

Tick the View Script Box to show the Script paneNotice here I am on Slide 1 of 11Notice also the Import Notes option, if you tick this you will be able to see the notes later on.Scroll through the presentation and type in your script for each slide

7Import NotesChoose All SlidesOKThis option means when you play the slideshow you can also display the text notes.

Helpful if you have students with different learning styles.8Record your AudioClick on the Red Record ButtonGreen Play Button to listen.

Because you have already written your notes this part will be easy. Play it back and if you want to record again, just do it.9Insert a SWF FileInsert SWF

These are seriously the simple steps it takes to add a Quiz. There are a number of detailed guides currently being written which will appear in the eLearning toolkit. A link to this will be from the techtime wiki.13Quizzes can be added quite easilySwitch to Urban Quiz Presentation to demonstrate this.Publish to your ComputerChoose Location; check Settings; Publish

If you are publishing this to your PC, you let Presenter create the folder and contents for you. Choose the path first, very important, otherwise it tries to put it in My Docs.

15Publish to the Connect ServerThis is a little more tricky, you need have Author rights on the server

Ask Beth to talk about this.16Where is it now?You will find a number of files have been created in the Folder (24 in this case).The Urban Theme Presentation was saved into a specific folder notice it contains a number of sub folders.
