    Section 1.AS 13/ASN 13CHARACTERISTICS

    1 CHARACTERISTICS

    1.1 FOREWORD

    The equipment is in compliance with the following standards:

    EN 301 489-4 for EMC

    ITU-R Rec. F497 and CEPT Rec. T/R 12-02 E (go-return 266 MHz) for RF channelling

    EN 302 217 for fixed digital radio links

    EN 300 132-2 power supply characteristics

    EN 300 019 climatic characteristics (in operation: class 3.2 for IDU and class 4.1 for ODU; storing:

    class 1.2; transport: class 2.3)

    EN 60950 for the operator safety.

    1.2 CHARACTERISTICS

    The reported values are guaranteed if not specifically defined otherwise.

    1.2.1 Versions

    Two versions of ODU are available: ODU AS and ODU ASN. The two versions are similar. Differencies will

    be pointed out.Regarding ODU ASN, the units without isolatorhave SIAE code GE9xxx, the units with isolatorhave

    SIAE code GE8xxx.
