This Addendum shall be considered part of the specifications for the construction of this work and shall be read in conjunction with such specifications. All work mentioned herein shall be in addition to and shall supersede the specifications and shall be included in the contractor’s tender. This Addendum shall be read in conjunction with drawings and Specifications Issued for RFP on March 15, 2017. This Addendum has a total of Eighteen (18) pages including attachments.

1.7. Reference Specification Section 22 15 00 a. Item 2.2.1: Compressed Air Piping shall not be copper tubing. Compressed air
piping shall be an approved plastic tubing with ASTM E84 compliant 25/50 smoke/flame development.
1.8. Reference Specification Section 25 05 01 a. Clarification: All Controls work shall be supplied and installed under separate
contract by Siemens (Owner’s controls contractor), except as noted herein: b. Item 1.1.2: Controls shall include all control hardware, software, graphics,
programming, relays, conduit, wiring, devices, sensors, control valves, actuators, laboratory control system, lab air control devices (air valves/terminals and associated silencers), and integration to all facility equipment (i.e air handlers, chillers, etc) with integral on-board controllers.
c. Disregard item 1.1.5: Not in contract. Disregard section requesting separate pricing of air valves and control system. Air valves/terminals, laboratory silencers shall be installed by HVAC contractor under supervision of certified device supplier. Setup, configuration, Ashrae 110 testing, etc shall be by controls contractor supplying air terminal/valves and associated laboratory controls.
d. All systems Control Valves and Actuators to be supplied by Siemens and installed by General Contractor. General Contract shall provide all required sensor wells.
