The Franke Active Kitchen has been created in partnership with WMF, a leading supplier of premium quality kitchen equipment, and uses the wallspace immediately behind your Franke sink as an easily accessible andadaptable storage facility for all the equipment you need to maximise practicalusage of your sink area.

Fixed to the wall above and behind your Franke sink are stainless steel profilebars. These profile bars have been designed with unique grooves which allowyou to store the accompanying accessories, either empty or full.

With such versatility at your fingertips,the Franke Active Kitchen adds a newdimension to food preparation andcooking, leaving work-surfaces clearand uncluttered – maintaining thegood looks and sleek lines ofyour kitchen.

The ‘Comfort Set’The ‘Comfort Set’ that comes asstandard with your Franke ActiveKitchen includes a white Hygeniachopping board, a waste bowl withhandles and a perforated drainer tray– plus there is a choice of optionalextras including salad spinner withintegrated strainer bowl and 3 piececheese-grater set with matching bowl.

UtensilsThe utensils and sink are designedto complement each other, with anintegral strainer bowl fitting snuglyinto the centre bowl. Many of theActive Kitchen utensils fit into thesame circular space, giving you aversatile working area in between themain bowl and drainer – whilst otherutensils fit over the sink, for yet morechoice as to how you maximise use ofthis valuable working area.

Sink OptionsThe sink itself is available in bothright-hand and left-hand inset versionsand incorporates three separate waste-water outlets for easy drainage,as well as two separate drainer zones.

Pull out nozzle and spray taps may require additional pumping in someinstances and local water authority approval prior to installation.

The figure in the symbol is designed to indicate the relative flow rateperformance for each tap. The rate is graded 1-8 where 1 is poor and 8 isexcellent. Relative flow rates are only likely to be relevant in installationswith a low head of water (below 4 metres) or low cold supply pressure. Ineither case you would be well advised to consult your supplier or installer.

All Franke taps are designed to conform to Water Research Councilrequirements and are backed by nationwide servicing and guarantees.

The Franke Sorter is an environmentally friendlywaste management system that fits neatly into500 and 600mm kitchen base units.

The KickMatic (700 K) is operated hands-free bya kick of the pedal – the door opens instantly togive access to separate compartments for easysegregation of kitchen waste.

Alternatively choose the Motion (700 M) for a smooth closing operation from a touch ofthe hand.

NB. When fitting under the sink ensure that thedimensions can be accommodated. The system is notrecommended for use with inset doors or metal frames.

All sinks available with left or right drainer.The description ‘reversible’ means that the designenables the same sink to be turned to drainer on theleft or drainer on the right. In the case of a ‘handed’sink it is necessary to specify which side the draineris required e.g. AKX 654 left hand drainer or AKX 654 right hand drainer. All bowl sizes anddimensions are described in mm.

Franke sinks are guaranteed for 25 years againstmanufacturing defect. Franke taps are guaranteedagainst defective materials and workmanship for1 year in relation to coatings and finishes, and 5years in relation to moving parts. Franke will replace(and where appropriate repair) defective sinks. Inrelation to taps, Franke will, where appropriate,

provide replacement parts for your taps or replaceyour taps at their discretion. Any associated orancillary costs to be incurred by you as a result ofreplacement of Franke sinks and taps under thisguarantee shall in all cases be previously approvedby Franke UK Limited. This guarantee is in additionto and does not affect your statutory rights.
