Theme : Pilipinas: Barrio Fiesta

Participants : All bonafide Freshmen Student of PUP Quezon City and

Organizational Officers of FBTO, JMS, D Innovators,

CommITS, DOMT.Cs, MUSA, DAMLAY, LITERA, KATAGA,

KKB, CBI, ACTS and I-Rock thru the leadership of Supreme

Student Council (SSC).

The Polytechnic University of the Philippines Quezon City Campus held its Annual

Freshmens Acquaintance Party last July 29, 2013 for the Academic Year 2013-2014 at

the PUPQC Covered Court.

Its participants are the bonafide freshmens students of the PUP Quezon City; the

students of Bachelor in Business Teacher Education, Bachelor of Science in Information

Technology, Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship, Bachelor of Science in Business

Administration Human Resource Development Management and Marketing

Management, the Diploma in Office Management Technology and Diploma in

Information and Communication Technology students.

The committees are composed of the Organization Officers of the major and minor

organizations of the campus. From the registration committee led by the DAMLAY

officers, logistics and other tasks was done through the help of other officers.

The freshmen students did not miss the chance to show their talents by presenting

different intermission numbers. The first presenter was the BBTE 1-1, followed by BSBA

MM 1-2, BSBA HRDM 1-N, DOMT 1-1, BSIT 1-1, BSBA HRDM 1-1, DOMT 1-2, BSBA MM

1-2, DICT 1-1, and lastly, BSENT 1-1.

The attire of the students is casual attire but they are assigned to wear the color of the

group where they belong. Also, each section have their representatives for the festival

assigned to them that worn their costumes of their respective festivals. The

The judges are the Administrative Assistant, Prof. CherrylynEsparagoza, Mr. Jaime

Agub, Former SSC - President,Mr. Franz Dave Irinco, FBTOPresident, and Mr. Mario

Mateo, YES - President, and Mr. Mark Bryan Pactao, Former DAMLAYPresident, while

Mr. John Manuel Lim, Deputy Secretary, and Mr. Renz Fernandez, Legal Consultant,

served as the Masters of Ceremony of the said party.

The representatives were Larielyn Villanueva and RonnelDichoso from BBTE 1-1 that

represented the Ati-Atihan Festival, Aila Alexa Baltazar and Cedrick Balasa from BSBA

MM 1-1 that represented Sinulog Festival, Darlen Joy Palisocand Eiajih Zamora from

BSBA HRDM 1-N that represented Dinagyang Festival, Gilliane Jorge and Ian Mora from

DOMT 1-1 that represented the Panagbenga Festival, Arianne Mae Pea and John

Edward Remo from BSIT 1-1 that represented the Moriones Festival, CheslaNuval and

Roger Martires from BSBA HRDM 1-1 that represented the Pahiyas Festival, Krisha

Angel Belamide and Matthew Zapanta from DOMT 1-2 that represented the Higantes

Festival, Aila Jane Dela Cruz and Franz Ernest Valera from MM 1-2 that represented the

Pintados Festival, Claudine Delos Santos and Christian Decoria from DICT 1-1 that

represented the Sampaguita Festival, and last but not the least, RodelynAmante and

Gemmel Cagomoc from BSENT 1-1 that represented the Maskara Festival.

After the program proper, the freshmen enjoyed the boodle fight prepared by each

section. Then, the winners of the games received their prizes.
