Speech etiquette• There is such a thing - "speech

etiquette" - rules of communication. People understand each other better if these rules are followed. The rules of verbal behavior are regulated by speech etiquette, which is a system of stable expressions in language. It is situations of handling, greetings, apologies, thanks, congratulations, wishes, compliments, invitations, suggestions, requests, advice and much more.

etiquette of meetings was strictly regulated. It was considered to make meetings without an intermediary or a special letter of recommendation. Modern etiquette does not involve compliance with these conventions, but still there are a number of generally accepted rules of meetings.
