About these guidelines

As an approved assessment venue you are entitled to use the AAT Approved logo on your marketing materials to show current and prospective students that you are an official partner of AAT.

To download the AAT Approved logo, simply select the logos you require from the email you received – there are eps and jpeg files for print; jpegs and pngs for web use. Please read these guidelines in full before you use the AAT Approved logo.

Once you’ve used the logo, we need to approve it. Please email a copy of your proposed artwork to [email protected] We can also offer guidance and advice if you’re unsure on how to best follow the guidelines.

We work with students, members, training providers, employers and industry bodies to help people and organisations grow. Our authority stems from awarding qualifications. We also represent and regulate our members as a professional body in the UK and internationally.

To ensure you’re using the logo correctly, we’ve put together these simple dos and don’ts for it’s use.

The preferred logo for all assessment venues is the AAT Green and grey logo.

If you can’t use the preferred logo, the following uses are permitted:

Black and grey logo. White reversed out of black or a dark colour.

We like the logo just the way it is. Doing any of the following to it will get you in trouble with the AAT Brand Police.

If you need to make the logo smaller, make sure you’re holding down ‘Shift’ on your computer keyboard whilst dragging the corner of the image box. This will scale it proportionally.

Placing the logo on an image where it’s not clearly legible.

Using the logo on an angle.

Changing the colour of the logo.

Trying to replicate the logo in another typeface.

Altering any element or the arrangement of the logo.

Stretching the logo in any way.

AAT Approved logo guidelines 2017 / Clear zone

Clear zone

Because we don’t want other graphics or text obscuring or detracting from the logo, we’ve created a ‘clear zone’ around it.

The standard clear zone is the width of a letter ‘a’ from our logo. The clear zone applies on all sides of the logo and the area should be kept free of text and/or imagery.

All jpegs for web and print include the clear zone.

Logo size in print

Keeping the AAT Approved logo a standard size across printed literature formats is important for consistency.

On A5 documents the logo should be 25mm wide.

Any pages of your website that refer to the AAT Accounting Qualification need to feature the AAT Approved logo.

The AAT Approved logo will automatically link back to this web address: aat.org.uk/join

Simply log in to your MyAAT account and copy the code for the logo that fits best with your website – you can choose from small, medium or large. Paste this code into your web page, between the “body” tags.

If you’re not sure how to place the AAT Approved logo code on your web page, ask your IT department to help. If you have any questions please contact us.

The small logo is 96px wide, including clear zone.

The medium logo is 128px wide, including clear zone.

The large logo is 160px wide, including clear zone.
