FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH

Welcome in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Bibles (blue cover) and hymnbooks (brown cover) are provided for your

use.

A nursery is available in the lower hall for infants and toddlers.

Washrooms are also located in the lower hall.

If you wish to have a cushion or hard of hearing headset, please speak to one of the ushers who will be happy to obtain these items for you.

We invite you to complete one of the blue Visitor Cards in the pew rack and place it in the offering plate toward the end of the worship service. This will help us get to know you better!

Please silence cell phones and other electronics. Speak softly, move slowly and allow each one present to listen for God’s voice.

Many people have allergies to fragrances and perfumes, so we try to keep our church a scent-free zone in consideration of the health and wellbeing of others! Thank you!

Should you wish to have someone pray with or for you, today’s Deacon-on-Duty will be pleased to meet with you following the worship service. Please come to the front, west side pew.

Perhaps this prayer may help you begin your preparation today: “Loving God, Your Son Jesus is the good shepherd of Your people. He revealed Your love by laying down His life for His flock. Prepare

us this morning that reverently, thoughtfully, lovingly and

hopefully, both in the Word read and proclaimed, we may hear His

voice and follow where He leads. This we ask in His name. Amen.”

THE SOUND COMMITTEE IS REQUESTING YOUR HELP!

The Sound Committee is testing new speakers in the sanctuary. We would like everyone to help us assess whether they are improving the sound quality of our services. Would you please take a few minutes to give us your evaluation of the sound this week? We will use your information to make adjustments to the placement and output of the speakers to see if we can produce a sound that pleases most people. If we have a better sound, we will proceed to buy and mount speakers that are aesthetically pleasing.
