A DAY IN THE LIFE OF MARKETEROn 05th Jan 2013, I met Mr.Anand, Sales Manager of Rajarajan motors,

and discussed about my assignment in marketing. He accept my request and told me to come next day.

On 06th Jan 2013, I met him and he introduced his sales executives Mr.Balaram and Mr.Gopi and told them to explain how they interact with the customer me, what are all the procedure they follow to deliver the bikes and how they are unique than other dealers to attract the customers.

After these they assign a job to me to make an entry in the enquiry form register. In these I have to enter how many people get quotation for bike, address & contact details of each customer who got quotation.

Based upon these entries the customer care people interact with customer and ask them when they come for booking and also they explain what details they have to bring to book the vehicle.

Next day they put me in front desk to interact with customer and explain the features of vehicle to the customer under the guidance of Mr.Balaram, Sales executive. He told me, how to interact with customer, analyze the needs of the customer and give it.

To attract the customer Rajarajan motors have unique features than its competitors. Once the customer books the vehicle, they deliver the vehicle in 3 hours if they pay full cash, if it is finance they deliver the bike on next day. And also customer have a chance to choose their own vehicle these facility is not available in any other competitors.

Rajarajan motors have different finance companies to offer bike loan to customer, they are Bajaj finance ltd, HDFC bank, Shriram city finance, Indusind bank, and customer can choose their finance companies what they want based upon their policy.

There is also exchange offer for old bikes, Customer bring their old bike and get new bike for considerable amount to pay.

In the evening I have a chance to visit their warehouse; they store different models of bike to deliver to customer as soon as possible.

Next day the same process is continued for me.
