I'LOTICE INVITING QUOTATION

On behalf of the board of councilors, The Chairman, Khardah Municipality,' invites Tenders, toobtain . a rate from manufacturer/Dealers of DI pipes for supplying of DI pipematerials for one year period, for Khardah Municipality as stated below from the 01 Pipemanufacturers. Materials are to be supplied within Khardah Municipal Area under the State ofWest Bengal as and when required during one year contract period. Rates quoted should beinclusive of all taxes and delivery charges together with loading / unloading, handling & stackingcharges at site. Supply of materials would be for Water Supply Scheme of Khardah Municipality.Time to time supply order will be issued by "The Chairman,Khardah Municipality" as per requirement.

Supply and delivery at site ISI Mark Socket andSpigot jointing system centrifugally cast 01 (K7)Pipes conforming to IS 8329-2000 (Third revision)in standard length 4 m, 5 m, 5.50 m, 6 m for push-on joint (rubber gasket) with internal cementmortar lining and external protection by metalliczinc coating with finish layer of epoxy/ bituminouscoating of outside as per IS: 8329-2000specification with necessary jointing materialrubber gasket (IS: 5382:1985) includingtransportation, loading unloading and stacking atsite including free supply of polyethylene sleevesfor Water Supply Projects.• Manufacturers should have Valid PAN no.,

VAT / Sales Tax & Professional Tax receipt.They should have valid Certificate fromPollution Control Board.

• For bulk purchase of 01 pipes bonafidemanufacturers are only eligible. Themanufacturer will submit previous experiencecertificate of supply of DI pipes toGovernment/PSU/reputable Private Sectorbodies, but such experience is not mandatory.

• Certificate to ensure that the installed pipemanufacturing capacity of the factory is

sufficient to cater to the Tenderedrequirement.

• Valid BIS certification of the manufacturer foreach and individual diameter of pipeTendered.

• External coating of the pipes will bebituminous/epoxy over zinc coating andinside cement mortar lining as per IS:8329:2000.

• Certificate from reputable GovernmentInstitution/ Universities is essential foreligibility to participate to ensure desiredhydraulic smoothness of Cement MortarLining in the DI pipe, the minimum Hazen-Willium's "C" value of 140 corroborating theguideline of CPHEEO Manual Water Supplyand treatment.

• Providing rubber gasket conforming to IS5382:1985 for each of the joints admissible inthe ordered quantity +5% extra to be includedin the quoted rate.

• Third Party Inspection (TPI) throughRITES/MECON/EIL/PDIL of the pipes ismandatory before delivery of the pipes. TPIreport should cover all the parameters as perIS: 8329:2000.

guideline of CPHEEO Manual Water Supplyand treatment.

vii) Certificate to ensure that the installed pipemanufacturing capacity of the factory issufficient to cater to the Tenderedrequirement.

viii) A declaration in the form of Affidavit in a non-judicial stamp paper should be submittedstating clearly that on the date of submissionof the application, the applicant is notburred/delisted/blacklisted by any Govt.Deptt. / Gov. Undertaking/ Statutory Body/Municipality and of the like Govt. Bodies inD.1. Pipe supply tender in India and if any suchincident is disclosed in the Affidavit or isotherwise discovered, the applicable bidderwill become liable to be disqualified/ineligibleand the bid/tender will also become liable tobe rejected and the financial bid of the saidbidder will become liable for non-opening.The decision of the tendering authority in thisrespect will be final and binding

4. Rejectiori of Tender

The employer(Tender accepting authority) receives the right to accept or reject any tender and to cancelthe tender process and reject all tenders at any time prior to the award of contract without therebyincurring any liability to the affected Tenderer or any obligation to inform the affected Tenderer of theground for employer's (Tender accepting authority) action.
