Honors Course

• High School Credit• Final Grade for YEAR determines HS

credit. Must be above a C. • Will affect your high school G.P.A. • If after the first grading period, you have

not maintained an A or B, you will be reassigned as a Middle School Credit Physical Science Student, and no High School credits will be earned.

Tests and Quizzes

• Each test is worth more than a quiz

• Added to journal after they are handed back

• True understanding is what I am aiming for, not memorization. You cannot memorize your way to an A!

Late Work, Retakes, and LunchBIG CHANGES FOR ALL 7th Graders, now 8th Graders--• NO late homework will be accepted. If you do not have

your homework done the day it is due, I will not take it, for a grade, late. You SHOULD do it regardless. *Extenuating circumstances will alter this.

• Retakes will be done ONLY if I approve. I will ask YOU to retake, not vise-versa. It is not assumed, nor implied that you can retake.

• Lunch will only be open to complete labs, etc. Most 8th grade rooms will be closed every day at lunch.
