System Series 6200-CH
Dekoron® Unitherm™ LLC, the inventor of pre-
insulated and heat traced tubing products for in-
dustry, now introduces a new line of manufac-
tured pre-insulated & traced small bore piping sys-
tem. Until now, small bore piping requiring heat
tracing has been field installed using SR electric
heater pre-formed or blanket type mineral fiber
insulation with mastic or metal clad jacketing. This
method of heat tracing and insulating pipe is not
only labor intensive it results in gaps in the insula-
tion, openings in the coating or jacketing which
allow moisture egress resulting in degradation,
corrosion & loss of thermal efficiency which leads
to higher operating costs.
The Series 6200-CH Process Ready System pro-
vides pipe, tracer channel, insulation and a seam-
less extruded jacket in one easy to install system,
which greatly reduces the amount of field labor
required while providing unsurpassed weather
ability and years of maintenance free service.
The Process Ready System is
comprised of the following elements:
Copper, Carbon or Stainless tubing or pipe
High performance, high efficiency, low chlo-
ride, hydrophobic thermal insulation
Aluminum tracer channel
Continuous, weather protective, lead-free,
flame retardant Polyvinylchloride (PVC) outer
jacket
