5th Grade Groups and Nursery Rhymes- CalendarWeek 1: 3.16 to 3.20Students will receive their group and nursery rhyme assignments. Students will learn about traditional Irish Phrases and Irish Accents Week 2: 3.23 to 3.27 Students will began to brainstorm story ideas. Students will begin writing their script. Week 3: 3.30 to 4.3Students will finish writing their scripts. --- 4.6 to 4.10---SPRING BREAK! Week 4: 4.13-4.17 Students will explore blocking possibilities. Students will rehearse their plays with pre-determined blocking. Week 5: 4.20-4.24Students will write/draw-out scene plots, costume plots, props lists and make-up lists. Students will identify necessary materials and brainstorm solutions to potential problems. Week 6: 4.27-5.1 A Group Students will amass necessary materials and begin working on sets and props. B Group students will rehearse plays Week 7: 5.4-5.8 B Group Students will amass necessary materials and begin working on sets and props.
