Abdallah Bdeir | Vice Chairman & Member of the Founding Board | Jordan Green Building Council, JordanMr. Bdeir is now the Assistant General Manager at Jordan Construction Materials Co. Mr. Bdeir started his operations career in the USA before moving to Amman and handling the technical and operational management of the local Mitsubishi Motors dealership. After leaving to Canada to complete his Graduate studies and further broadening his operational experience by working in the bio pharmaceutical manufacturing area, Mr. Bdeir returned to Amman to take on the role of Executive Manager of Steel Buildings Co. In addition to his role as Vice Chairman and member of the founding board of the Jordan Green Building Council as well as heading the Technical committee of the council, and a member of the UNEP SBCI steering committee, Mr. Bdeir has seen his career converging to the necessity of advocating sustainability most recently speaking at the Abu Dhabi Concentrated Solar Power conference. Mr. Bdeir is a member of the Jordan Engineers Association, the American Institute of Steel Construction, JSQ, OBS, Al-Faiha Club, the Islamic Cultural Society, McGill Alumni Club, amongst others.

Abdul Jalil Bakhruji | Projects Director Saudi Tabreed District Cooling Company, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA)Abdul Jalil joint Saudi Tabreed in April 2010 as a Projects Director of Saudi Tabreed District Cooling Company. He holds a BS degree in civil engineering from King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals, Dhahran Eastern Province. He has 28 years of experience in utilities operation and maintenance in Saudi Aramco. He also obtained an associated degree in water and waste water technology from state of Missouri, USA in 1994. He had been through several electromechanical projects in Saudi Armco and been an operation and maintenance director for utilities plants in oil processing plants and Central Air Conditioning Plants within Saudi Aramco as well.

Christer Nyholm | International Sales Manager | Rensman ABChrister Nyholm, Sales & Project Manager of Swedish company Rensman since 2002, has spent the past five years primarily working in the international market within the Middle East. His expertise includes cleaning, pressure testing and passivation of district cooling networks most recently on Reef Island in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Ivo Pothof | R&D Manager – Renewable Energy Deltares, Netherlands Mr. Ivo Pothof is an industrial hydrodynamics specialist at Deltares. Mr. Pothof has joined Deltares in 1997. He is specialized in fluid transients, optimal control of pipeline systems and air-water pipe flows. His PhD thesis on air-water flows in downward sloping pipes is directly applicable to waste water, cooling water and hydropower outlet works.
