One of the quickest ways to graph is by the slope­intercept form of an equation. Get the y by itself.

Constant functions: y = b, a horizontal line. They do not cross the x­axis (except for y = 0 which is the x­axis). Slope­intercept form is y = 0x + b, where b is any number.

To graph these functions: go to the axis given and put a dot at the number given, then draw a line perpendicular to that axis

(this works for horizontal or vertical lines)
