Government of India Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment (SCD-V Section) Result of Natlonal Overseas Scholarship for SC etc. candidates for the Selection Year 2018-19 (4th & Final Listf Under the scheme of National Overseas Scholarship for the Selection year 2O18-19, O7 (seven) candidates have been provisionally recommended by the competent authority for the Assurance of Scholarship under 4th and final list on the basis of information furnished by the candidates in the application form and other documents submitted along with it. 2. The Committee considered 148 applications in total. The considered applications include 43 applications kept on hold due to non availability of slots (As per the recommendations of the Selection Committee made in its meeting on 13.02 -2OL9l, 84 fresh NOS applications received from OI.O2.2OI} to 31.03.2019. 2L Applications have been received after closing date i.e., 31'03.2019. As per the recommendations, 07(Seven) candidates have been selected for Assurance of Scholarship under the 4tt and final List for Selection Year 2OL8-19 as per Annexure-I. 3' The candidature of the selected candidates is PROVISIONAL subject to they being found eligible in all respects. The candidates would be required to produce the original certificates in support of their claims relating to age, educational qualifications, caste, income etc. before actual release of funds. They are, therefore, advised to keep the said certificates ready. 4' Provisional assurance letters will be issued to selected candidates shortly. The selection would be confirmed subject to verification of all original documents and fulfillment of the other eligibility requirements like police verification, Submission of Bonds, Confirmation of admission, accreditation of college/ university by Indian Missions abroad etc. as per scheme. The provisional awatdf assurance letter however, will not bestow any legal right on the candidate to claim the award and the award will be cancelled if any information/ documents submitted by candidate is found to be false/ incorrect. 5' A1l documents submitted by provisionally selected candidates are subject to verification for genuineness. Under the scheme of National Overseas Scholarship for the Selectionyear 2O18-19, O7 (seven) candidates have been provisionally recommended bythe competent authority for the Assurance of Scholarship under 4th and finallist on the basis of information furnished by the candidates in the applicationform and other documents submitted along with it.

2. The Committee considered 148 applications in total. he/she has availed scholarship or is availing scholarship, action will beinitiated for recovery of the scholarship disbursed with 15% compound interestthereon. Such candidate is also liable to be black listed for future.

6. 120 candidates could not be considered for award/assurance owing tonon availability of slots for selection year 2}18-lg. The names of suchcandidates are mentioned in Annexure-Il. Their cases are closed and thesecandidates may apply afresh for subsequent selection year after ascertainingtheir eligibility under the Scheme guidelines.

7. Applications of 21 candidates, mentioned at Annexure-Ill, were receivedafter closing date i.e.,31.03.2019 and are therefore, late applications. Lateapplications stand rejected as per the Scheme guidelines.
