Acted as Coordinator (on three occasions) of Refresher Courses meant for academic refreshments of

on numerous occasions. Carried out numerous inspections in the Colleges of West Bengal to check the

supervisor and the title of his thesis is: In Quest For The Eternal: Mystical Expressions in South

Asian Islam, 13th

3. Shri Sankar Kumar Biswas has submitted his Ph.D. thesis in September, 2013. I supervised his

research on The Image of Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiqui in Bengali Piety.(Awarded in 2014).

4. Smt. Saswati Dutta has submitted her Ph.D. thesis in July, 2014. I supervised her research on

Ouponibeshik O Sadhinatauttar Banglar Samajik O Sanskritik Itihase Ramakrishna

Mission.(Awarded in 2015).

5. Tanmoy Ghosh has submitted his Ph.D. thesis in October 2015. I supervised his research on Peasant

6. Prasenjit Biswas has submitted his Ph.D. thesis in March, 2016. I supervised his research on SOCIAL

MOBILITY AND THE DYNAMICS OF CASTE; THE MAHISHYAS OF SOUTH-WESTERN BENGAL (1901-

1931). (Awarded in 2018) 7. I jointly supervised the research of Epsita Halder, Asst Professor in the Dept. of Comparative
