AT THE CORE OF OUR BUSINESS

Service is not only about the emergency call out, should the worst happen to your equipment.

Our service department boasts a combined experience of almost 60 years. While technology is constantly evolving, so is our service team with best practices, new, improved and innovative ways of ensuring that all equipment is set and maintained to the highest of standards.

Regular and planned preventative mainte-nance, PSSR Testing (Legal Requirement) at a time suitable to you will keep you creating those wonderful espresso based drinks and prolong the lifetime of your equipment.

In- house refurb of your equipment, our team will remove your existing equipment, loan you a machine and complete a full strip down and refurbishment of your machine in the dedicated 38 Espresso service workshop.

Fully stocked and tracked service vans with a backup warehouse stock to keep any downtime which may occur to a minimum, monthly KPI’s on service monitored with a view to constantly improving.

COFFEE

BLENDING THE PERFECT ESPRESSO

We source hand picked coffee from all over the world, at their ripest, blend and roast in our small batch roaster and constantly monitor the profiles that we produce.

Loring roasters give the groundbreaking control to create a single baseline roasting profile that can be run at different batch sizes, on any Loring roaster, with consistent results. A combination of conduction and convection – a unique flavour.

We don’t hand roast and make no apology for it, instead we rely on technology to monitor every aspect of the roast cycle ensuring your blend, taste and profile are constant.

With nearly 30 years experience in the coffee industry, Gareth McKee knows a thing or two about coffee and what you and your customers require.

Consistency is key for us, we complete a number of QC checks, from taste, extraction, TDS and colour both in bean and ground form. We are passionate about maintaining the perfect espresso for you.

TEACHING THE PERFECT ESPRESSO

An individual step in training is to put responsibility into the individual. This is the ethos that we follow. But we are always there should you need us.

• Training completed by 38 Espresso brand ambassador.

• In house or on site training.

• Full training register, logged and recorded.

• Key staff, trained to Barista Champion level.

Guidance and support on the full range of drinks, we follow EDIP procedure.E – ExplainD – DemonstrateI – ImitateP – Practice

Training and support does not end after the 1st session, training is an ongoing process with regular audits, key areas identified and required modules completed.

The coffee beans selected by JDE coffee buyers arrive from all over the world to the factory in Joure, The Netherlands.

Immediately after arrival, each batch is checked and tested for optimal assurance that only the best beans are used for Cafitesse.

The beans are then examined, carefully roasted and ground to specifications outlined by The JDE Master Blenders.
