Ensure the VIN matches the work order and the vehicle date is in the lock period and there are no “Holds” on the vehicle for any reason. Ensure the vehicle calls for the accessory installation. Inspect the area where the accessory is to be installed and the vehicle for damages, etc. prior to all work.

Required Tools and Supplies:- #2 Phillips screwdriver- Nylon trim tool- 99% Isopropyl Alcohol - Microfiber towel- Vehicle Protection

1. Open the LF door to gain access to the dash area where the wood trim kit parts will be installed.

2. Ensure proper protection is in place.

Place protection over LF side sill/door jam before entering vehicle. Do the same for RH side.

Protect the area surrounding the Infotainment screen and dash area assembly from scratching and

damages.

1. Remove LH side panel by inserting nylon trim tool at bottom of access notch.

2. Place the panel aside for reinstallation.

3. Remove (1) screw on the LH side of the lower dash panel.

4. Save the screw.

Only pull out on the LH lower dash panel approximately 3” or less to dislodge the top trim section and prevent damaging the panel from

opening too far.

1. Carefully open the LH side of the lower dash panel by carefully pulling straight out to disengage (8) white clips.

2. Do not remove the panel or pull out any further than approximately 3” or less to dislodge the top trim section and prevent damaging the panel from opening too far.

3. There are connectors behind the panel, leave it connected.

1. Carefully remove the top trim piece on the LH side lower dash panel by carefully pulling up to disengage (5) retaining tabs.

2. Recycle dispose of the trim panel responsibly.

Only pull out on the LH lower dash panel approximately 3” or less to dislodge the top trim section and prevent damaging the panel from

opening too far.

1. Carefully install the accessory wood top trim piece on the LH side lower dash panel by aligning the (5) retaining tabs.

2. Ensure the wood trim is fully seated in place by ensuring all the (5) tabs are seated and no gaps are found surrounding the panel.

3. Carefully reinstall the LH side of the lower dash panel by aligning and seating the (8) white clips previously disengaged.

4. Ensure the panel is fully seated in place and reinstall the (1) Phillip's screw previously removed.

5. Reinstall the side access cover by aligning the (4) white clips and ensure the panel is properly seated in place.

6. Remove LF side sill protection.

1. Place protection on the RF side sill.2. Carefully open the RH Dash Cover panel using

a nylon trim tool and by panel by aligning the (12) retaining tabs.

3. Do not remove the RH dash cover panel or pull out any further than approximately 3” to 5”or less to dislodge the top trim section and prevent damaging the panel from opening too far.

4. Apply infotainment unit screen protection see next slide.

Only pull out on the RH upper cover panel approximately 3” or less to dislodge the top trim

section and prevent damaging the panel from opening too far. Be very careful around the

Infotainment Screen not to scratch or damage the screen while dislodging the upper cover panel.

1. Apply protection between the infotainment unit screen and the RH side upper dash cover panel to prevent damages to the infotainment screen area.


Only pull out on the RH upper cover panel approximately 3” or less to dislodge the top trim section and prevent damaging the panel from opening too far. Be very careful around the Infotainment Screen not to scratch or damage the screen while dislodging the upper cover panel.

1. Carefully support the RH upper dash cover panel and grasp the RH lower trim panel with the other hand.

2. Carefully remove the RH dash lower trim panel by pull straight out to disengage (10) white panel retaining clips.

3. Place the RH dash lower trim panel on a flat protected surface.

1. Using a #2 Phillips Head screwdriver remove (3) screws at the location shown on the under side of the RH lower trim panel.

2. Save the (3) screws.

1. Using a nylon trim tool carefully dislodge the (3) retaining tabs that hold the center section of the RH lower trim panel in place.

2. Remove the center trim panel and dispose responsibly.

1. Locate the RH wood trim center section accessory panel and align the (3) clips and (3) screw mounts into the existing RH lower trim panel.

2. Ensure the wood trim panel tabs are locked in place.

3. Using a #2 Phillips Head screwdriver reinstall the saved (3) screws at the location shown on the under side of the RH lower trim panel.

1. While supporting the upper trim panel, reinstall the lower trim panel with the accessory wood trim added into the RH dash area by aligning the (10) white clips into the dash slots.

2. Ensure the lower trim panel is securely seated in place with no gaps around the panel.

3. Remove dash protection from infotainment screen.

1. Reinstall the RH upper trim panel back into place into by aligning the (12) white clips into the corresponding dash slots.

2. Ensure the upper trim panel is securely seated in place with no gaps around the panel.

3. Remove RF side sill protection.

1. Ensure both LH and RH wood trim accessory panels are properly secured in place.2. Ensure the vehicle lower LH panel is properly reinstalled with (1) Phillip’s screw and all clips properly seated. 3. Ensure the LH outer side access cover is properly secured in place.4. Ensure the vehicle RH upper and lower panels are properly reinstalled with all clips properly seated. 5. Ensure the RH upper panel clips where the panel surrounds the lower area of the infotainment screen is properly seated

in place. Ensure no gaps. 6. Ensure there are no panel gaps where the panels were removed and reinstalled.7. Ensure no scratches on the dash panels including the center infotainment system screen.8. Using a clean microfiber towel remove all smudge marks.
