Bridal Changing Room and Lake Front Lounge We’re happy to offer this amenity to you and your bridal party!
Located off the west end of Sunset Terrace, this 400 square foot room comes complete with
an air conditioning unit, full length mirror, beverage bar stocked with cold beverages, champagne,
and a tray of assorted snacks to munch on.
Following your ceremony, this space will convert to a lakefront lounge
that you and your guests can enjoy into the evening on your special day.

Usage Fee Details • There is an $800 tent usage fee for Sunset Terrace on Friday, Saturday, and holiday events. The tent usage fee for
Sunday and Weekdays is $700.
• The room usage fee also includes use of the following items for 6 hours: tent, gazebo for ceremonies, dance floor,
tables, banquet chairs, portable bars, carpet, lighting, cathedral windows with screens and restrooms.
Onsite Ceremony Details • The gazebo located directly 200 yards behind the tent does not have electricity. If you plan on having your
ceremony at the gazebo and require electricity, it is the customer’s responsibility to plan accordingly. Extension
cords may not be run from the Tent due to safety concerns.
• There is no golf cart available from the park. You can arrange to rent a golf cart at least 10 days prior to your
wedding from Kosch.
• Onsite ceremonies with white unpadded chairs are available and included with various packages.
• If there are any weather issues on the day of your event, the ceremony can be held inside the tent and guests will
stand near their designated seats for the reception.
• Ceremony chairs provided by Kosch will be setup 2 hours prior to ceremony start time regardless of ceremony
location.
Tent Specifications Details • The tent can accommodate up to 250 guests and is 40’ by 100’.
• Guest tables are 60” round tables and seat 8-10 guests (8 is preferred).
• The floor surface of the tent is carpeted.
• The dance floor is approximately 19’ x 19’ and can accommodate 40 couples.
• The chairs are white padded folding chairs.
• The tent is an aluminum frame structure rated to withstand 60 mph winds and is rain resistant.
• The tent can be heated or have air conditioning for an additional cost; however, it is usually not necessary to do so.
• The restrooms onsite have two stalls in the women’s restroom and one stall and three urinals in the men’s
restroom.
Vendor and Room Setup Details • You will be contacted by our onsite event manager 5-7 days before your wedding to discuss vendor delivery
schedules and setup schedules.
• Please consult with Kosch prior to arranging your rehearsal and/or setup times. Other events will be taking place at
Sunset Terrace that will need to be worked around and Kosch cannot guarantee a specific date or time for either
until 10 days prior to your event through your onsite event manager. Setup may occur the day prior to your event
only if there is not an event scheduled the day before. Setting up the day before cannot be guaranteed for all
events.
• If there is an event scheduled for the day prior to yours, setup will take place the morning of your event which will
be organized with our onsite event manager.
• 1 outlet is available for your DJ or Band. The DJ or Band must provide their own extension cords and power strip
to make the 1 outlet available work with their equipment.
• Vendors have same day setup (after 11 AM the day of the wedding) and pickup. Vendors must be in the park prior
to 11 PM and have all of their items out of the Tent no later than 1 hour after the reception end time. Failure to
do so will result in a fee charged to the client.

What are the time limits for my reception? • A six hour time limit is placed on all events. This does not include your ceremony time, if applicable.
• For timing purposes (not a limit), dinner service takes approximately 60-90 minutes.
• All events must end no later than midnight. There is absolutely no entering the park after 11:00 PM. Please arrange
transportation accordingly.
• Last call will be 30 minutes prior to the conclusion of the event, not to exceed 11:30 PM.
When can I setup my decorations?
• All setup for events must take place after 11:00 AM on the morning of the event unless otherwise approved by Kosch.
What are the minimum requirements for hosting my reception at Sunset Terrace?
• A minimum of 100 guests with a minimum expense of $3,000 is required to host an event at Stony Creek Sunset
Terrace on a Friday/Sunday. A minimum of 100 guests with a minimum expense of $5,000 is required to host an event
at Stony Creek Sunset Terrace on a Saturday.
What are the Metropark Policies and Procedures? • There is an $800 tent usage fee for Sunset Terrace on Friday, Saturday, and holiday events. The tent usage fee for
Sunday and Weekdays is $700. This fee includes the use of the gazebo or surrounding grounds for your ceremony if
applicable.
• Sunset Terrace is located on the grounds of a public park with seasonal daily business hours. The general public is
permitted to enter the park and surrounding grounds during these stated hours regardless of scheduled events.
• Decorations or displays brought onto the premises must be approved by Kosch. Items may not be attached to any
walls, floors or ceilings with nails, staples, tape or by any other means.
• The use of wax candles is not permitted at Sunset Terrace in any form.
• Loose glitter, fake flower petals, and confetti are not permitted as decoration items.
What are the Alcohol Policies? • In accordance with the State of Michigan Liquor Control Commission all beer, wine, and spirits consumed on premise
must be purchased and served by the foodservice managing licensee.
• Any event serving alcohol must use a Kosch TIPS trained bartender for the entire event.
• Serving shots of liquor is not permitted at any event.
• Non-tipping bar service is available upon request for a prepaid fee of $1 per person per bartender at your event.
This service must be coordinated prior to final payment; if it is not coordinated, there will be tip jars at the bar.
What are the Kosch Policies? • No food other than cake may be brought into this facility.
• By agreeing to host your ceremony/reception at Sunset Terrace, you authorize Kosch to photograph your event and
utilize these photos in various marketing media including but not limited to its website, bridal websites, and marketing
materials.
• Per Oakland and Macomb County Health Department regulations, leftover food must be disposed of at the conclusion
of all events.
• Kosch is not responsible for damage or loss of any personal property. In addition, the client is solely responsible for
any damage done to the facility or its properties the day of the event.
• All prices and menu selections are subject to change without notice due to uncontrollable market conditions.

What is the required deposit? • A $1750.00 payment is required to secure the services of Kosch. This will be applied to your total event order.
• Accepted payment types include cash, check or any major credit card.
• By making a deposit toward your event you hereby acknowledge that you have read, understand and agree to Kosch’s
Policies and Procedures, and Payment Schedule.
• In the event of a cancellation, we will refund any money paid minus a $750 cancellation fee after the event date ONLY
if we are able to rebook the date with another event of equal or greater value.
What is the 180 Days Payment? • A second payment bringing your event total to half paid must be made 180 days prior to your event date. Late
payments will result in a $250 late payment fee added to your event and the event can be cancelled without refund.
When should I have my linen colors selected? • All linen color choices must be finalized 30 days prior to your event, if not sooner. Failure to do so may result in a
limited availability of options.
What do you need to finalize my wedding details? • The final payment and any menu adjustments must be made no later than noon 10 days before your event date. Late
payments will result in a $250 late payment fee added to your event and the event can be cancelled without refund.
• Complete the Bridal Details and return to your Kosch sales representative by noon (pg. 14).
• Submit a guest list to Kosch no later than noon 10 days before the event date.
• We will try to accommodate any changes within the 10 day time period if possible. We can do our best to add, but we
are not able to subtract from the final guest count given after noon 10 days prior to the wedding.
What is my final billing based on? • Final billing will reflect the actual number of guests served or the guaranteed minimum head count, whichever is
greater.
Are there any additional fees? If so, what are they? • All prices are subject to Michigan state sales tax and Kosch service charge.
• Groups requesting exemption from state sales tax must submit a tax exempt certificate (Michigan Dept. of Treasury
Form 3372) upon confirming their catering with a deposit. Failure to submit this document prior to the event date will
result in the sales tax being applied without refund.
• A charge of $10.00 per vehicle is required to enter the park unless the vehicle has an up to date Metropark sticker.
Prepaying for your guests to enter the park is an option that has to be coordinated through the Stony Creek Park
Office (586-781-4242). Park tolling is included with the Platinum Plus Package (page 8) and would not need to be
coordinated with the Park Office.
• Gratuity to staff is not included in the total cost of this proposal unless noted and is not mandatory.
What should be included in my Required Guest List? • All events will be required to provide a copy of their guest list to Kosch no later than 10 days before the event date.
• While children aged 5 and under are not charged for food and beverage, they will need to be included on the provided
guest list and be clearly marked as being 5 and under. All others will be billed at our regular rates as our pricing is
based on an average.
• Please include vendors such as photographers, wedding coordinators, photo booth attendants, DJs and/or band
members when providing your final guest counts. They will be charged for at the regular rates of your package.
