Elements is published bimonthly. Each issue explores a theme of broad and current interest in the mineral sciences, through peer-reviewed, invited articles. The magazine also presents regular features like a calendar of events, reviews, conference reports, and news from the participating societies.

editorial and advertising Policy
Elements publishes invited peer-reviewed papers in its thematic collection of articles. Themes of interest can be proposed to the principal editors. Elements also publishes short articles describing new advances, as well as news of interest to the readership.
Elements accepts paid advertisements related to mineralogy, crystallography, geochemistry, or petrology, and to the use of these disciplines in other sciences, industry, technology, or the arts.
