2017 Annual Report Building Business.

Building Community.

LETTER FROM OUR PRESIDENT

Welcome to the 106th IVAC Annual Dinner! I cannot believe how fast this year has gone. 2017 was an exciting year for IVAC and we have seen an amazing amount of progress, and I am tremendously proud of the hard work and dedication of our committees, volunteers and staff. Collectively, we have worked diligently and this year’s annual report showcases our programs, activities, and accomplishments, as well as, some of our challenges. IVAC’s goal has always been to create job opportunities and stimulate the local economy by growing our industrial and commercial base. This year’s focus, specifically, was to increase the amount of business to business opportunities that are available for our members and work on growing our members as leaders. Our Executive Director, Joni Hunt, and staff along with our enthusiastic committees have brought to IVAC a number of new members, new ideas and future goals. We have a lot to look forward to in 2018, and we hope to see all of you along the way. Your investment in the Chamber allows us to continue to be the premier resource for business and community development in the Illinois Valley, and as an IVAC member, it is your responsibility to let us know how we’re performing and if we’re meeting your needs as a business and as a community. The door is always open at IVAC and we encourage an open dialog with our members. Your feedback is crucial to our existence and progress. I personally invite all of you, either tonight, or anytime in the future, to share your comments, suggestions or even criticisms, in order for IVAC to work best for you. Sincerely,

2017 Vision To assist our members in realizing their full potential to thrive in the Illinois Valley by providing educational opportunities, sharing resources and encouraging participation in order to cultivate a new era of development, growth, and productivity - creating a positive business climate.
