Last Start: Warren waited until 10:40 PM central time on Saturday to start game two of the LumberKings scheduled doubleheader against the Cedar Rapids Kernels. As Warren waited until the 18 innings of game one concluded, he locked in during his prep time, and the results speak for themselves. Warren threw a career high six innings, allowing just five hits, while holding the Kernels scoreless. The Napoleon, OH native has allowed just one run all season in three starts. He will be pitching in front of family and friends tonight in the one start he is eligible to make all year in the state of Ohio.

Digging Deeper: Part of what has made Warren so good is his ability to fight his way out of adverse situations. Leadoff men are hitting .313 against him (5-16), but opponents with runners on are just 3-27 against the righty. Even more impressive is the fact that opponents are just 1-15 against him with runners in scoring position. Eight of the eleve hits he has given up have come against lefties, while righties are just 3-30 against Warren in 2016. His opponents batting average on balls put in play is .244, and he is stranding 94.1% of the runners he puts on base.

Next Day Starter

RHP #36 Zack Littell(0-2, 4.50 ERA, 16.1 IP)

Littell got knocked around in his last start, allowing a season high 11 hits to Cedar Rapids on Sunday, giving up six runs (although only two earned) for the second time in four starts. Despite this, Littell is the only Lum-berKings starter to have completed six innings more than once this year. His road ERA is 7.36, while his home ERA is just 1.64.
