Whether you are new to the Parade of Homes or just have questions on how things work, you’ve come to the right place. This guide is meant to walk you through how

to get the most out of your Parade experience.

Where do I buy tickets? You can buy a ticket at any Parade home. Tickets are $10 for adults. Kids 18 and under are free. Since your ticket gets you into all the homes, make sure to hold on to it. It also serves as your voting ballot and your entry for prizes.

Prizes? Tell me more. Magi-Touch Carpet One Floor & Home and Blue Hawk Audio and Video have each donated a great prize that Spring Parade of Homes attendees are eligible to win. Check out page 3 for more information.

How do I vote for my favorite homes? All homes are listed on the back of your ticket. The homes are split into price categories. Please only vote for one home in each price category by placing an ‘x’ in the left column.

Do I have to take my shoes off at each home? Yes, most builders require attendees to remove their shoes before entering the homes. We recommend wearing slip-on shoes and socks to make the process easier. Many builders also do not allow bare feet in the homes. So, if you are not wearing socks you will be asked to wear booties.

Can I bring my children to tour the homes? Yes, but please make sure to keep an eye on them. Children love to run

up and down the steps or in wide-open areas which may be dangerous for them and others.

Where do I park? Parade parking is on the street. Please do not block driveways. We recommend parking between multiple homes, so you can walk to the different homes.

What do the home prices include? The prices listed are the price to rebuild that home (including any upgrades, finished basements, etc.) on a comparable lot.

Are all the homes for sale? Many of the homes are for sale, while others are presold. They all have been built in the last two years, however. If you are interested in a specific property, ask the builder/representative if the home is available for purchase. We recommend that if you want to talk to the builder extensively about a home, you make an appointment.

In what order should I visit the homes? It’s important to note that you do not have to visit the homes in numerical order (they are numbered by price). In fact, you can visit in whatever order you please.

A couple more things to remember:

• There is no food or drink allowed in the homes.• Please do not take photos inside the homes. • No tape measures allowed.• Download our FREE app. Search

The Bismarck-Mandan Home Builders Association is proud to present our annual Spring Parade of Homes. It is evident that local building professionals have been busy

this summer and I am certain our communities will benefit as they showcase more than 40 homes in this Spring’s Parade of Homes. Our builders have worked hard to deliver each beautifully crafted home in price points everyone can appreciate.

Our fully-loaded parade boasts 34 homes in Bismarck, 6 in Mandan and 1 in Lincoln. This year’s variety of homes is sure to offer something for everyone with homes priced from $238,850-$992,000; with the median home price of $389,900. Whether you are ready to buy, build or remodel the parade is an excellent source of inspiration and access to local builders.

This season’s event will run Thursday, April 28 through Sunday, May 1. Specific dates and times are as follows:

Tickets are available at any home on the Parade route for just $10 each, children 18 and under are free. The tickets are good for admission at every home and are valid for all four days.

Take advantage of our of our popular Parade of Homes smartphone app – ParadeSmart – that provides attendees with turn-by-turn directions, home details and builder profiles. The app is a wonderful tool that we encourage everyone to access. It’s a resource to use before, during and after the event. Free of charge, the app is available for Apple and Android devices by searching “ParadeSmart” in the App Store.
