Benchmark Baby! Park Forest knows how to celebrate! The team hosted a resident

apprecia on party which included a big feast and goodie bags for their residents to take home. The weather was great and so was the turnout!

Rollingwood’s team had a party for their residents over Memorial

Weekend. Randy Jones served up ribs donated by Outback Steakhouse and

many residents enjoyed the pool!

Jared  Lemankiewicz  and his wife, Colleen, are happy to announce the birth of their son, Connor John, who was born on June 24th. He was 7 pounds 9 ounces and 19 inches long. Congratula ons to the new parents!

Jody Smith recently celebrated her 15 year anniversary with Bench-mark. When Jody first came to Benchmark, she did both payroll and accounts payable. As the payroll posi on grew, she gave up AP and became Payroll Manager, the posi on she holds today.

As we all know, Jody processes our payroll. What you may not know is that she processes payroll for five companies totaling 240 people.

She is responsible to process all the new employee paperwork, payroll changes and audits the data before it is transmi ed to ADP. She also processes the benefit billings and handles unemployment. Jody says “It may seem strange to some people, but I like working with numbers and I like the success of a balanced spreadsheet”. She is always helpful and no ma er what is going on or how busy she is she responds to each request promptly and with a smile. Jody is so pleasant to work with!

Jody has been married to her husband, Jeff, for over 25 years and they have two sons. Mathew is 25 and Nick, 22, just recently graduated from college. Outside of work, Jody is happy being at home with her two dogs, gardening, reading and boa ng.

Site Spotlight

This month we are shining the spotlight on The Meadows’ Service Technician, Mark Miller. Something you might be able to tell about Mark right away is that he loves coffee… so much so that his team teases him about his coffee breaks. Once you see the effort Mark gives it is easy to tell that those breaks are well-deserved. Despite his low-key, quiet demeanor he is hugely dedicated to making The Meadows the best it can be, which is just one reason why Mark is such a valuable member of The Meadows’ team. He has helped the team become members of the 100% occupancy club. He offers sugges ons for improvements to the community and is willing to take on projects in house to get them done more quickly. Mark takes great pride in his work and strives for complete resident sa sfac on. In fact, when he returns to the office a er comple ng a service request he announces “another sa sfied resident”. What a wonderful a tude! And it’s true—residents absolutely appreciate Mark’s commitment and hard work, and we do too.

Grahame & Liz  Brown  are excited to announce that their daughter, Brie, has officially graduated high school! We wish her a very bright future ahead.
