REPORT

2015�2016 Campaign Overview

The 2015-2016 Annual Fund Campaign was

valued at $71,000 with $64,500 in monetary

gifts (including matching gifts from AT&T,

FBR Capital Markets, IBM, Raytheon and

The Tarrance Group) and $6,500 in donated

goods and professional services.

The 2015-2016 campaign monies were

distributed as follows:

• Media Center—$55,700.00

• Tuition Assistance—$8,800.00

Donated goods and professional services

accounted for the following:

• Technology (Chromebooks)—$3,000.00

• Media Center Furnishings—$1,200.00

• Other—$2,300.00

Message from the Principal... Annual Fund Growth

Since its inception in 2011-2012, monetary

gifts to and overall participation in the

St. Louis Catholic School Annual Fund have

increased annually.

St. Louis Catholic School was blessed with a very

successful 2015-2016 annual fund campaign!

Through the generous donations of current

parents, alumni, parishioners and corporate

matching funds, we raised more than we ever

have. A study of the corporal and spiritual works

of mercy was ongoing throughout school year as

we focused on our spiritual theme “Try Mercy”,

and family gifts of prayer helped to support the

many intentions of the school and parish. Finan-

cial and service donations, totaling over $70,000,

were used in two ways: $62,000 was spent on

technology and furniture for the new media cen-

ter, and $8,800 was used to provide school tui-

tion assistance for parish families in need. Our

family participation effort continued to grow,

and there was an increased awareness in both

the campaign effort and the use of the funds.

While we continue to provide for the needs of

students through tuition and parish assistance,

the annual fund provides St. Louis Catholic

School with important additional capital im-

provements as we grow in technology and edu-

cational advancements. Mother Teresa wrote,

“I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast

a stone to create many ripples.” Her words re-

mind us that we each play a part in building

God’s kingdom, beginning on earth and right

here at St. Louis. Our generous families and

friends have shared themselves this past year in

a way that helps our school continue on its jour-

ney to grow in love, mercy and service - spiritu-

ally, academically, physically, socially and emo-

tionally. I am so thankful to each and every one

of our donors and will continue to keep you in my

prayers as we work to building His kingdom.
