Financial Information

The deposit of $300.00 has been paid for use of

the facilities, the balance of $700.00 must be paid by

July 12 2015. We currently have a $30 balance. So

please send your dues made payable to: Singleton

Phoenix Family Reunion c/o Raye Kimberlin, 20

North Lane Lebanon, OH 45036, or you can pay

through PayPal at: http://

Reunion Dues as agreed at the last reunion are

$30.00 per family or $15.00 per single.

Note: Dues are needed soon.

Fundraising ideas were tossed around last year

and some of the suggestions were an auction selling

collages of he 10 elders, creating a recipe book, host-

ing a photo swap, selling t-shirts and promotional

items such as water bottles, keychains, etc. A print

on demand shop was being considered to offer

promotional items such from mouse pads, cups,

aprons, t-shirts etc., where the family can

conveniently place their own individual orders.

Last but not least, we have a new addition to our

reunion contacts. The Singleton Phoenix Family Website

has been launched to serve as an online hub for our

family. This website will be another communication tool

along with the ability to archive our family history

This site features the family history of the Singleton and

Phoenix families with a family tree. In addition you can

enjoy photos from past reunions as well as upload your

own photos to share or create a personal profile with

your picture, add family announcements and use

PayPal to make a donation to the family reunion fund.

about the previous activities, future wants and needs is

an ongoing opportunity for you to help make our family

reunion more interesting and exciting.

Reunion Information

This year’s Family Reunion is again being

held at Lakeview Acres at the Lebanon Morrow

exit of State Route 123, Lebanon, OH. Directions

are: From Cincinnati: I-71 North to Exit 32/

State route 123. Turn right and go until you see

a red barn with a large American Flag painted

on it. Turn into the driveway and follow it back

to the picnic grounds.

From Dayton: I-75 South to Exit 29, State

Route 63, and turn left. Go through downtown

Lebanon and State Route 63 becomes 123.

Continue 3 1/2 miles to where 123 intersects

with I-71. Continue on till you see a red barn

with a large American flag painted on it. Turn

in to the driveway and follow it back to the

picnic grounds.

2015 Updates 2014 Reunion Pictures

What do you think of the following activities:

Kings Island, Baseball Games, Wine Tasting, Casino

Night, Photo disc of previous family reunions, The

Singleton Sisters Music on cd, bake sale, silent auc-

tion, talent contests, etc.?

Activities planned for this reunion include some

of these activities and if you are interested in any of

them contact: Shawna for Kings Island and Raye for

the ball game and information on other activities.

Schedule: Thursday, July 30, Kings Island;

Friday, July 31, 2015—Casino Night, Wine Tasting,

Reds Game (Blues Fest?).

Saturday: August 1, 2015 — There will be games,

concessions and prizes, bakeoff contests, fishing derby,

bingo, Olympics, legacy contest, music contest, and

last but not least a Fiesta complete with a taco bar,

chips, funnel cakes, piñata, etc.. Contact other family

members and remind them of this year’s event and

encourage them to also to not only see their dues are

paid but also to participate in the reunion itself. We

cannot have a family reunion with out the family.

Family Acknowledgements/Awards/Contest

Blanche’s Oldest & Wisest winner was: Esther

Moore (Wilbur’s family) born 1925; Most Distance

Traveled went to Erin and Jordan Howard,

(Charles) who came from China;

Missy Bake Off went to Renee Forrester (Wilbur)

for her Pineapple Specialty Cake; Wilbur’s Fishing

Derby to Ronay Lyons with a 6 1/2 inch winner.

Marie Writes Spoken Word: Charles Moore

(Wilbur) shared a poem and we trust that by now

Tiffany DePass’s (Wilbur) collection of poems will

be published and we hope a copy will be available

to see and purchase.

Family Accomplishments: Dominique Lyons

(Wilbur) will be studying abroad and teaching

English as a second language in Japan for the 2014-

2015 school year; Esther Moore celebrated her 90th

birthday on August 31, 2014. Wouldn’t it be great if

we had pictures of all those events?

The music hour was cancelled because of the storm

that knocked out our sound system.
