Walker Field Days 2013 LeOer A`en=on Teachers, This year's field day will be be`er than ever with your help and coopera=on. The days and =mes have been set, the schedule is as follows: Monday June 3rd
3rd, 4th & 5th 8:15-‐10:15 Kdg., 1st & 2nd 12:15-‐ 2:00
We will again this year have the students move through 5 sta=ons. Each group will spend approximately 15-‐20 minutes at each sta=on. Groups will be given =me to prac=ce the event and then will run for points before rota=ng. Sta=ons will be set up on the playground and in the gym.
In order for this event to run smoothly we will need the following list of tasks to be completed: 1) Teachers will need to divide their classes into three equal teams red, white and blue. 2) Teachers need to give Mr. Sewell a copy of the team lists as well as keep a copy as classroom teachers will be staying with their class through all the sta=ons. 3) Classroom teachers will be given a score sheet and will travel with their class from sta=on to sta=on and keep score. 4) I will need to place one or more staff members at each sta=on that will be in charge of that sta=on and oversee the compe==on. I would like to be able to use the specialist if possible. 5) This should be a fun event and a chance for our students to showcase some of the skills and ac=vi=es they have par=cipated in during gym classes this year. The exclusion of student should be kept to a minimum. I am looking forward to a great field day this year and lots of fun along the way. Thanks, Brian
