Project Eliminate
Kiwanis and UNICEF have joined forces to eliminate
maternal and neonatal tetanus. This deadly disease steals
the lives of nearly 60,000 innocent babies and a significant
number of women each year. This disease brings:
Repeated, painful convulsion
Extreme sensitivity to light and touch
Capital district is dedicated to help eliminate this disease
from the Earth. It will take $110 million to immunize future
mothers and babies.
Capital district raised
over $72,000 in 2013-2014 year
for ELMINATE, which saved
Over 40,000 lives.
Our goal for 2014-2015 year is $80,000.
With your hard work and dedication, we can reach this goal!

Governor's Project: KOTIO
Emphasizing one of the core values of Key Club,
inclusiveness, this year's governor's project is KOTIO, which
stands for Key Club Outreach To Include Others. You can
achieve this by:
Volunteer with an organization or event that benefits
individuals with disabilities in one or more events
No fundraising! It should be hands-on!
Ex) Kiwanis Aktion Club, KEEN, Best buddies, Easter Seals,
Miracle League, Special Olympics
Submit "Governor's Project Form," which will be released
soon!
Be recognized at DCON!

schools that are in good condition! Congratulations! I hope the
experience was valuable for you guys and will be aiding you in your
terms next year! Here's a letter from your District Governor, Anastasia
Slepukhova!
Hey Key Clubbers of Capital's Division 3A! I would like to
thank you and your Lt. Governor, Kiyoon for welcoming me at
your Divisional Council Meeting on the 13th of June! I had
such a great time with all the activities, and it was an honor to
meet and get to know so many of you. I truly hope that
everybody learned something new they can now take back
to their clubs and got a better understanding of how Key
Club International is structured. I encourage you to take
advantage of all the amazing opportunities this organization
offers, including district wide events like Fall Rally, DCON, and
Key Leader! I look forward to seeing you again throughout
the duration of this year. Always feel free to contact me if you

Benefit Concert Project
I still need volunteers in order for this project to happen!
I have 4 committees planned:
1. Performance - This committee will help me during the
concert as stage crew. Also, they will be helping out
planning the concert itself.
2. Ticketing - This committee will work with Ms. Boswell and me
to take care of the ticketing of the event and the financial
aspect of the concert.
3. Advertisement - This committee will work on getting the word
out! This can be achieved in many different ways! We will
also work on selling advertisements on our program and
ticket!
4. Program - This committee will make the program for the
concert. They will be in charge of the design and ads.
Concert Details:
