1 The DepEd Regional Office-NCR, through the Regional Research Innovation, and Development Committee (RRIDC) and the Policy, Planning, and Research Division (PPRD) shall conduct the above-captioned activity on October 12, 2021, from 1:30 P.M.-5:00 PM via Zoom and Facebook Live with the theme: "Basic Education Research for Continuous Improvement amidst the Pandemic".

MECHANICS OF DEPED-NCR RESEARCH JAMBOREE 2021 RATIONALE
Research Jamboree is one of the mechanisms of the DepEd-NCR in evidence-based building and enriching the culture of research among teaching and non-teaching personnel and education leaders of the organization. Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 16, s. 2017 also known as the Research Management Guidelines, this activity will be spearheaded collaboratively by the Regional Research Innovation and Development Committee (RRIDC), Schools Division Research Committees (SDRCs), and the Policy, Planning, and Research Division (PPRD). This activity primarily aims to advocate and recognize completed and implemented research studies in the entire Region under Basic Education Research Fund for the fiscal year 2020.
GENERAL GUIDELINES 1. Organizers shall be at the Zoom Meeting by 1:10 PM on October 6, 2021. Participants
are requested to join by 1:25 PM. 2. All participants are expected to put their microphones in mute and dress
appropriately. 3. Participants shall pre-register through this link bitly/PreReciister2021NOW in order to
receive the Zoom link 3-5 days before the event, link will close on September 28, 2021, 12NN. They are expected to use their DepEd email for the registration. In order to be accepted in the Zoom, a complete name must be used in the pre-registration which will also be used in the Zoom.
4. Participants are expected to fill out the attendance and evaluation forms. Links shall be posted in the chat box before and after the event.
BERF 2020 COMPLETERS AWARDING
1. Listed in Enclosure No. 1are the names of BERF 2020 Lead Researchers and Co-Researchers.
2. Names with asterisk (*) are requested to contact their Senior Education Program Specialist for Planning & Research (SEPS P&R) or their Division Research Coordinator (DRC) to comply missing requirements and to receive certificate of completion.
3. The DRC shall send the requests or concerns of their previous researchers (e.g. did not receive certificates, corrections on the names and other concerns on certificates) through this link: bit.ly/CertRequest2021 until September 29, 2021, 12NN.
RECOGNITION OF RESEARCH PRESENTERS, ADVOCACIES AND LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES
1. DepEd - National Capital Region teaching and non-teaching personnel in public schools, division, and region shall be recognized for their efforts for fiscal year 2020-2021 until September 15, 2021.
2. Research presented (Regional, National, and International) for fiscal year 2020 and 2021 until September 15, 2021 shall be recognized. The SDRC shall nominate awardees from their respective Division. Nominated personnel shall not have any past or pending administrative case on or before the awarding ceremony. SDRCs are requested to verify the submission and submit the following Means of Verification (MOV): Certificate of Appreciation/Recognition, Letter of Acceptance/ Invitation, photo and/or video documentation) through this Google Form link: bitly/ResearchPresenters until September 30, 2021, 12NN.
3. Research advocacies are research-related activities conducted by the Division on it I It, at, it t, I ,ovi,ic.r1. SC,f2C-Li's r tc,
following MOVs: Memorandum, Program, QAME Results, photo and/or video documentation through this Google Form link bitly/ResearchAdvocacies until September 27, 2021, 12NN.
4. Learning and Development refers to conducted capacity buildings/trainings in the Division focused on L&D. The following MOVs: Approved and Signed Project Proposal, QAME Results, Memorandum, photo and/or video documentation shall be submitted
through this Google Form link: bit.ly/ResearchAdvocacies until September 27, 2021, 12NN.
5. Research utilization award is a recognition to be given to school and Division who were able to utilize and apply their research output in their plans, priority programs and in improving access, quality and resiliency in education. SDRCs are requested to submit the following MOVs: Narrative report of Research Utilization, Research abstract, Annual Improvement Plan, School Improvement Plan or Division Plan highlighting the application of the research utilization, photo and/or video
documentation through this Google Form link: bit.ly/ResearchUtilization until September 30, 2021, 12NN.
PRESENTATION OF COMPLETED RESEARCH OUTPUT (AVP)
1. BERF 2019 and 2020 Completers who have research related to 'Blended Learning,' and 'Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan implementation' may submit a 5-minute audio-visual presentation to their SEPS P&R/Division Research Coordinator so they can upload it in this Google Drive until September 29, 2021, 12NN, through this
link: bit.ly/ResearchAVPs. 2. The 5-minute AVP shall follow these requirements:
a. Landscape Orientation b. Minimum of 1080p High Definition Video Quality c. Presenter should be audible, clear, and can be understood d. Video must not be pixelized e. Name of researcher/s, title of research, division, BERF funding year, brief
profile of the researcher f. Name of the School, Division, School Head and SDRC
3. Only ten (10) AVPs shall be chosen for the Research Jamboree. AVPs which were not selected shall be considered for presentation on succeeding research activities provided that the videos met the requirements.
SHARING OF RESEARCH MANAGEMENT BEST PRACTICES - School Level (AVP)
1. Each Division shall select one (1) school and submit one (1) 3-minute AVP on how research is being managed and utilized in the School.
2. The 3-minute AVP shall follow these requirements: a. Landscape Orientation b. Minimum of 1080p High Definition Video Quality c. Presenter should be audible, clear, and can be understood d. Video must not be pixelized e. Brief Profile of the School, Name of the School Head, School Division
Research Committee 3. Best practices will be awarded platinum, gold, and silver. 4. The following criteria shall be used:
a. Number of Teacher-Researchers (BERF/Non-BERF) - 20% b. Number of Accepted and Completed for the past 3 years - SEPS/DRC
nominated - 35%
c. Learning Action Cells (LAC) session/conference on research in their school -20%
d. Utilization of Research in SIP/AIP - SEPS/DRC nominated - 20% e. AVP requirements - 5%
5. All items in the criteria shall be included in the AVP that will be submitted. 6. SEPS P&R/DRC shall upload the 3-minute AVP through this Google Drive link:
bit.ly/ResearchAVPs until September 29, 2021, 12NN.
SHARING OF RESEARCH MANAGEMENT BEST PRACTICES - Division Level (AVP)
1. Each SDO is requested to submit one (1) 3-minute AVP on how research is being managed and utilized in their Division.

b. Punctuality on research submission - 15% c. Completeness of attachments on research submitted - 20% d. Partnerships on research - 10% e. Dissemination and Utilization - 10% f. Basis for Program and Policy Implementation - 5%
