year U.S. Air Force veteran, Mark McCandlish has been around military aircraft since childhood.

An early fascination with Dinosaurs drove him to depicting them in his artwork, eventuallyturning to automobile design. After serving in the Air Force himself, Mark attended several

community colleges as he assembled a portfolio the helped him to gain acceptance at the

prestigious Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. He left college beforegraduation to work for nine months as a matte artist in Hollywood for a special effects company.
