two week programs combine 17 hours of Spanish

Spanish language instruction is provided by Centro

Panamericano de Idiomas (CPI), the premier language

school in Costa Rica. With over 20 years successfully

teaching students of all ages and abilities from all over

the world, CPI has the experience and the qualified

professors to ensure everyone in your family improves

and enjoys learning. Even beginner adults will have a

great time.

CPI has custom developed instructional materials

targeting multiple levels of students. Their proven

methodology reinforces core grammar concepts thatare instrumental to Spanish proficiency.

Classes consist of daily conversations derived from the

interests of the students themselves, supplemented by

oral and written exercises and games.

The primary goal is that students develop confidence

in speaking, no matter what level they start at.

CPI has developed a specific program for children 12

and under, the program provides a more stimulating

language instruction while ensuring that the foundationfor proper Spanish speaking is developed.

Classes are held Monday to Friday. The small

classes provide each student the greatest level of

interaction with other students as well as personalizedattention from the professor. Plus, each student will

have personal one-on-one instruction tailored to the

students specific level and interests. For example, one

may focus on specialized Spanish words in business,

law, politics, culinary or biology.

Sample Daily Schedule

Morning yoga at the Tree Top Yoga Pavilion or

morning surf session

Breakfast - fresh mango, bananas, pineapple, eggs,

bacon, French toast, Costa Rican Coffee.yummy

Spanish lessons - 3 hours with break in between

Lunch - fresh fish and chips and guacamole!!!

Afternoon 1 on 1 lessons with my teacheror

Go kayaking on the Rio Nosara and spot a crocodile

or surfing lessons, or ziplining, or....maybe a siesta Dinner, either out on the town or at Tierra Magnifica

Evening activites??? How about trying a Latin dancingclass by the Tierra Magnifica pool, (note to self,

remember to bring my dancing shoes), or tutle scouting,

or listening to live music, or making jewlery.

expansion project; Tierra Magnifica now features 8

luxury ocean view rooms with private baths and airconditioning, and 3 ocean view bungalow rooms with

A/C and a shared open-air tropical bath.

The Tierra Magnifica kitchen serves custom prepared

meals selected by you and your kids. Well do all the

work, but youre welcome to jump in and join the fun.Our cooking is consistently rated as outstanding by our

guests. One night a week we all jump into the frying

pan for our "cooking with Katia" night where we learn

secret Costa Rican recipes and fun Spanish cooking

phrases.

Most guests enjoy the beach early morning and again

in the late afternoon for our spectacular sunsets. In

between classes, there is more than enough to entertaineveryone either at Tierra Magnifica or at any number
