2-Stage Vane Separator The Seaworth 2-Stage Separator system is designed for opera- tion in harsh marine environments. It is used on Off-Shore Platforms, air intakes on marine vessels and Coastal air intake where salt is an issue. The coalescer is also a G3 rated dust filter. Two Configurations for this item are available: (1) Vane Separator followed by Filter/Coalescer—Velocities up to 4.5m/sec. 2-Stage Vane Separator The Seaworth 2-Stage Separator system is designed for opera-tion in harsh marine environments. It is used on Off-Shore Platforms, air intakes on marine vessels and Coastal air intake where salt is an issue. The coalescer is also a G3 rated dust filter.

Two Configurations for this item are available:

(1) Vane Separator followed by Filter/Coalescer—Velocities up to 4.5m/sec.

(2) Filter Coalescer followed by Vane Section—Velocities up to 6.1m/sec

GT2 Coalescer Panel:

Consists of a special polymer media sand-wiched between stainless steel welded wire mesh. This structure is corrugated and retained in a 316 stainless steel housing. The GT2 reduces airborne salt spray and dust contaminants down to usual design requirements. Using the Sea-worth HV2 bag or HE10 can increase salt effi-ciency to 0.0013ppm against the NGTE 30 knot aerosol.

Vane Separator:

Constructed of marine grade anodized alumini-um, the marine separator achieves maximum possible water loading with minimal weight and pressure losses. Air drawn through a series of specially designed vanes which trap water, which then drains vertically down to the drain-age channel and finally out the front drain slot or into a Manometric drain trap.
