Shrimp Nutrition

Testing o f the probiotic v t .

the digesttve tract o f penaeid rhrimp and multiplied in rl bacterial fermentor)

in shrimp diets, was carried out with juveniles o f shrimp Prnacus indicus

Results indicated that at 3% inclusion

level. the feed efficiency and growth o f shrimp were significantly improved.

Sale of hatchery reared seed of seabass

The first consignment o f hatcher) reared seed o f seabass fL. calcarifer) was delivered to Mr . Samarasan. a progresstve fish farmer, at a functlon held on 30.8.1997 at Muttukadu Experimental Station. A total o f 1.8 lakhs seed were sold to 9 fish farmers.
